Bowser you absolute star. You came to us so nervous, hiding. But then a huge transformation you suddenly realised you were safe and we were treated to
head bumps, dribbles and chin nibbling!
Quite rightly your new adopters didn’t stand a chance from your charms. Go safely lovely boy, many adventures lie ahead 😻😻

Yep it’s that time of year! Unfortunately because owners often don’t bother to spay or neuter their cats😱Let’s all be responsible owners and also find these wee ones loving homes 🙏

Kitten season has arrived with a bang here in Stroud branch! 🐱
Our incredible team of volunteers has already homed 2 litters of kittens this season — and we currently have another 4 litters in foster care, that's 16 tiny lives being looked after right now by our dedicated foster carers.
Meet the kittens keeping us busy:
🐾 The Y Kittens — Yves, Yannis, Yana, Yasmine and Yogi. This little family of five were found abandoned in a garden shed and are now safe, warm and thriving in foster care.
🐾 Dorothy's Kittens — Bobbie, Bert and Pearl. Their mum Dorothy was living rough behind a garage before being rescued. Thanks to our volunteers, this family of four now have everything they need.
🐾 Dora's Kittens — Dora came into our care whilst pregnant and has since welcomed four beautiful kittens into the world, safe in a loving foster home.
🐾 Betsy's Kittens — Betsy also came to us whilst pregnant and has given birth to four kittens of her own, all thriving in the care of our amazing volunteers.
None of this would be possible without two things: the extraordinary dedication of our volunteer foster carers, who open their homes and hearts to cats and kittens in need, and the generosity of people like you.
Every penny donated goes directly towards the care of our cats — vet bills, vaccinations, neutering, food, and all the essentials that give these kittens the best possible start before they find their forever homes.

Super Ed of course found his new home today. His description said “It would be better than winning the Lottery” to the lovely couple who adopted him this is certainly true. What a chilled dude they have welcomed to their lives. Go Ed wise man you can teach us all so much 😻😻

Well of course little 10 week old Moana and Maui didn’t even make Cat Protection rehoming website! Reserved today off to their new home this weekend. Little beauties, so playful and affectionate. (They also came from a household breeding kittens for sale) No health checks, or treatment, interbreeding etc. Breaks your heart💔 Thank goodness we found these little ones 🤗🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

No surprise photogenic Panda has found his forever home today. Large old abscess wound all healed, free of parasites, neutered and chipped now. Bless him stoic throughout, he can now start living the life he so deserves. (Humans who think “ oh it’s just a cat” minimum care involved please take note) Charities like Cats Protection constantly pick up the pieces and rebuild their trust. 🐈‍⬛

Beautiful lively Frank. Just over 2 yrs old. Your life until now has been rather curtailed, living inside only, with elderly owner. We have found you a family, kids to play with and a garden for your on going exploits outside. So very pleased you are getting the life you deserve. Go Frank be safe and enjoy 💖

Gorgeous chunky hunk Nero off to pastures new today yaaaay! As a beautiful black boy he has been here since end of Feb. (Sadly black cats take longer to rehome) But finally he has the perfect home. He has developed such a character here and his new adopters have a wonderful new addition in their lives. Thank you so much 🙏. Be safe lovely Nero we have run out of tissues! 😻😻

We don’t often post photos after rehoming but the lovely adopter of Jax (now Mac) has given consent. As you can see he is living his best life, at a rural dog hydrotherapy site.
Apparently he oversees everything, pinches staffs lunch and brings lots of presents home😱. They all love him❤️. This gladdens our hearts to see, we will strive to get the best placements for all our rescues, changing their lives for the better( just don’t fall in the pool Mac!) Many thanks to his lovely adopter for the photos 😻
