Squashy is cute! Squashy faces and butts and ears are cute.... right??

They might look cute but they are actually the result of breeding practices that focus on money making not animal welfare. Check out Battersea's Cost of Cute campaign to find out a bit more:

Exaggerated features like folded ears, flat faces or screw tails might seem cute, but these popular looks have a serious impact on dogs’ and cats’ health and welfare. We’re campaigning to tackle this harmful trend.

Today marks National Animal Rights Day. All over the world animals are subjected to cruelty and neglect, and today is intended to highlight their plight -
Animals have rights too under UK law, such as the Five Freedoms [ https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/45/section/9 ] in the UK.

❗ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ❗
**ALL CLIENTS PLEASE READ AND PASS ALONG TO THOSE WITHOUT FACEBOOK IF YOU CAN**

⚠ BRUCELLA CANIS TESTING POLICY ⚠

Due to rising numbers of cases of brucella in humans that have been traced back to imported dogs (mainly from Eastern European countries), we are forced to introduce a new policy for treating imported dogs.

It is recommended by APHA that your dog is tested 3-6 months after arriving in the UK.

If you do not have this or another form of proof for negative test results within that time frame, we will no longer be able to treat your animal unless testing is done and found to be negative.

We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause but must consider the safety of our staff, some of whom are immunocompromised.

Thankyou for your understanding in this matter.
