At Honeysuckle Pet Services, we provide a quality and reliable service in the areas of dog walking, home boarding and pet sitting. Our home is set in a beautiful semi rural location, set well back from the road with very secure fencing in the garden and grass paddocks. We have a number of fantastic walks available to our boarders including: Yarrow Valley Park, Hic – Bibi, Duxbury Woods & Ellerbeck

. All home boarding dogs live in our home with us as part of the family. With over 25 years experience for caring for dogs, cats, horses and small farm animals, you can feel assured and have peace of mind when using Honeysuckle Pet Services. We are fully licensed by the local authority and are fully insured. We are also an approved home and dog walker for Walk On - Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Service and Chorley Dog Walking. 🐕🐾 Pupdate Time 🐕 🐾

Summer has officially arrived, and we've been enjoying time outside safely with super early playtime in the paddock & walks over the back fields. ☀️

Happy Thursday Everyone!

Firstly thank you for all the lovely comments, messages and treats for Athena and Baby Edgar. Mum and baby are doing wonderful. 🍼💙🐴

I can't believe we are approaching the second May Bank Holiday already! Before we welcome our next VIP boarding guests, we thought we'd do a photo pupdate of our latest VIPs (and sneak the odd Edgar pic in). 😍🐾

The weather has been so beautiful, and we've certainly been making the most of it here at HPS HQ. We've also added a new doggie sun lounger and a doggie sprinkler pool to our collection. I'm sure there are a couple of water loving Labradors that are going to go wild for the new pool! 🏊‍♀️

Please note we CLOSE for ENQUIRIES at 12noon this Friday and RE- OPEN at 8am on Tuesday. 🚪
Our working hours for enquiries is 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Unless stated otherwise. Thank you.

Also polite notice and a little grumble: PLEASE 🙏🏼 (PLEASE!), keep to the times we agree for pick up and drop off. If you're genuinely delayed, just send us a message, it's not a problem but PLEASE don't leave us waiting 40/50 mins with no communication, to then say, you set off late or went to Aldi for some bits 😩. I feel we are very flexible compared to other home boarders / kennels when it comes to times. Thank you, grumble over 😅.

Impromptu Pupdate........well actually a baby-update!

Good morning, everyone! ♥️

The stork has been! Yes, we have another baby at HPS HQ 🍼.

Lord Aragon of Rohan - also known to friends & family as Baby Edgar. 💙

Born at 1.03am on Thursday 15th May 2025.

Edgar and his mummy (Athena) are doing really well and we are absolutely besotted with our new addition. Welcome to the world Edgar. 🐴🍼💙😍

Heartbroken to hear that another one of our beautiful golden oldies has crossed the rainbow bridge & gone into the golden medow to meet his friends.

Beautiful Buster. Age 14 years .

Buster was an absolute legend at HPS. Everyone loved him, and just like Hamish, he became an honarary Uncle to the younger pups. Buster was so kind, loving, gentle, and such a big softie. He was the ultimate teddy bear.

We are absolutely heartbroken and devastated for Buster's lovely mum and his family. We send them all our love. Thank you for entrusting us with Buster.

I can't believe it's the 2nd of April already!!

Well we made it everyone.............spring has sprung, the clocks have gone forward and the longer days are here 🙌🏼🐎🐾❤️!

Pupdate Photos below of our beautiful boarders. We've had a fab couple of weeks and we even had a bit of a holiday romance brewing between Frankie and Frank! At one point I thought there was going to be a marriage proposal 😅😉.

We are gearing up for the Easter Hols here at HPS HQ. Busy and fun times ahead. Next pupdate will be at the end of the month, so keep an eye out for that one going live.

It is with a broken heart & the deepest of sadness that we inform our followers & friends that another one of our beautiful golden veterans crossed over the Rainbow Bridge yesterday 💔.

Alfie aka Alfie Moon was known by so many of you, and he always celebrated Easter and brought in the New Year with us. NY will never be the same again without Auntie Em's little sidekick. He was the most loving little man. We will miss you so very much Alfie.

We are absolutely heartbroken and devastated for Alfie's family and especially the little people in his life. They were his world and vice versa. We send them all our love.

Good evening everyone!

I'm back from my Busman's Holiday, minus my mobile phone! It died on me last night and left me in Warwickshire with no google maps to get home 😅. Anyway just call me Dora the Explorer as I made it back to our little village this evening, following my nose and road signs. 😉.

I've managed to sort a new phone ready for the working weeks ahead 👐🏻 and the the contact number remains the same. Unfortunately though, I have lost some contacts when transferring the sim card & SD cards. 🤦‍♀️ Please do include your name (and Dog's name) when messaging HPS until I've saved all the details again. Thank you sincerely and apologies 🙏.

Meg, aka Meg-a-tron, was known by so many of you, and she was the kindest, most loving (and sometimes cheeky) little lady. We will miss her so very much, and her Meg-a-tron antics! From chasing birds to doing ballerina twirls. There was never a dull moment with Meg around. We are absolutely heartbroken and devastated for Meg's family and her brother Frank. We send them all our love.
