After a few days of setting up in the wind and rain at the Royal Cornwall Show, Oliver’s verdict is in: it’s basically Blackpool with better pasties. 🌧️🥟😂

We’ll be here all week, come and say hello. Hopefully by then we’ll have spotted the Cornish sunshine everyone keeps talking about

What a day 🥹

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. Thank you so much to every single person who came to see us today, messaged us, shared posts, wished us luck or supported us in any way. Every message, every kind word and every person walking through the door means more than you will ever know ❤️

This little business of mine has been built on passion, hard work, stress, tears, excitement and a whole lot of belief from the people around me. I couldn’t have done any of this without my amazing family who have supported me every step of the way, even through the chaos 😅

And a huge thank you to my wonderful customers. Your support for my little business never goes unnoticed.

There is one customer in particular who has given up so much of his own time to help me and I honestly can’t thank him enough for everything he’s done behind the scenes 🥳 🙏

Seeing people’s reactions to the new unit today made every late night and stressful moment worth it.

As a small business we’ve never had to close for a full day in all the years we’ve been doing this, but unfortunately the day has come.

Due to personal illness we’ve had to make the difficult decision to keep the shop closed today. When you’re a small business run mainly by one person with the help of a handful of others behind the scenes, sometimes things happen that are simply out of our control.

We hate letting people down and know many of you plan your visits around our opening hours, so we’re truly sorry for the inconvenience, especially at such short notice.

Typically everything always seems to come at once, as we are also closed on Friday ready for the big move into the new unit. To make up for the hours lost today and Friday’s closure, we will instead be open extended hours on:

Wednesday 12pm to 7pm
Thursday 12pm to 7pm
Friday - CLOSED

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and continued support. It genuinely means the world to us as a small independent business.

And we’re off.. Show season 2026 officially begun ☀️

We start the year off at the Yorkshire Game and Country Fair

The sun has been shining and the dogs have been out loving their treats, toys and new apparel

Absolutely over the moon to share that I’m officially a finalist in the She Inspires Awards 2026 🤍

To have been nominated in the first place was such a lovely surprise, but to then be selected as a finalist in the Women in Business: Independent Powerhouse category honestly means so much. *PINCH ME*

Thank you to every single person who supports the business, recommends us, shops with us and trusts us with your dogs. I’m so grateful for every bit of support along the way.

No matter what happens next, this already feels like a huge achievement ✨

The big wall is finally up in the new unit, I managed to paint, the wall, the floor and me yesterday. Progress though 🤣🙌

It’s coming along really nicely now and it’s good to finally see everything starting to take shape. We’ll keep sharing updates as we go and will let everyone know the opening date as soon as everything’s ready 🐾
