Please remember this weekends lurcher, terrier and whippet show is cancelled due to the severe wet conditions of the field.

This makes it not safe for the dogs and there owners and not to mention the untold damage it would do to the fields with veichles parking, footfall from competitors and there dogs and the mess machinery will make towing people on and off (it’s that wet)

Hopefully many of you would have had enough time to find another event to attend and we wish you all a good and safe weekend 🐶🐾

April 13/14th lurcher terrier and whippet show is cancelled.

Unfortunately with the field being on clay land it is just to waterlogged and has never been dry since the September show, so we have made the decision to cancel the show to preserve the show field for future events and for health and safety reasons.

We haven’t been able to get on to cut the field and with our car park also being in the field it would result in a muddy mess, veichles stuck and a lot of damage to repair for the next event so it’s just not feasible

Hopefully this gives folks 2 weeks notice to see if there is any other shows on up and down the country

💪💪👌👌🇬🇧 shaping up to be a cracking first show of the 2024 season

Event news, 2024 dates for our shows and events will be getting released on the 1st of January

The first event of the year will be the lurcher, terrier, whippet and fun dog show 🐶👌2 day event with added terrier maze, and dog scurry

Trade stands welcome, camping will be available,

As I said a few months ago we are putting together a team to help with the smooth running of the dog shows so if people are still interested in helping out drop me a message again to confirm.

We will also in 2024 be hosting another exciting event that will make us as far as I’m aware only the second place in the uk to offer it, FALCON RACING 🦅🦅. This is very exciting for us and more information will be released about this in January this will be a cash prize event.

Big things coming from in 2024 that’s for sure.

I hope many of you will support the events and shows again in 2024

❌❌❌FIREWORKS CANCELLED ❌❌❌

Skiddle will send emails out and refunds within 48hrs,

due to the strong wind gusts forecast 25mph (insurance will not cover us above 20mph for health and safety reasons) this along side the fact it is forcast non stop heavy rain all day due to the storm, it would just be a massive health and safety risk, and our customers safety is of the upmost importance to us.

We have spent all day watching various weather forecasts in the hope that it would change and it did but for the worst.

We hope you understand and we would appreciate it if you could share this post

Don’t forget to get your tickets for are zero and low noise fireworks display plus large bonfire

We have gems diner providing food again, they really do have the best burgers 🍔 in town at an affordable price, they are also providing a fantastic sweet stall 🍬🍫🍩🍭 and kids ride 🎠

We also have kids lights available on the night to 🌈🔦

Please note there will be still noise with some fireworks from when they set off and there will be some crackles and pops but they are all low noise.

But feel free to bring headphones for your children just in case.

Don’t forget to bring wellies 🥾 as it will get muddy ☔️💧and a water proof coat just in case it rains
