Here are some of the wonderful dogs that have been for their Myotherapy treatments in the last month. I have had a few new dogs join me this month for their treatments and they are doing really well settling in.

I have had a few people contact me saying they would like to book their dog in with me for treatments but they are worried as their dogs can be nervous or reactive with people. With Galen myotherapy we work with positive pact which gives dogs choice during their treatments. We do not restrain dogs and we let the dogs work at their own pace and allow time for the dogs to gain my trust. I have worked with alot of nervous, reactive, and rescue dogs and they are all doing so well and the progress they have made with their treatments has been lovely to see 🙂.

Compensation

Dogs are incredibly adaptable.

When one area becomes less efficient, another often works harder.

These compensations can become normal for the dog—even though they're not optimal.

I have had some new wonderful dogs join me for Myotherapy treatments in the last 2 weeks. They are all doing really well settling into their treatments. I love my job being able to help dogs feel more comfortable and I look forward to seeing their progress. How lucky am I to be spending my time with such wonderful dogs 🥰 x

Hello my name is Lisa and I am a qualified Galen myotherapist and my business is k9s in motion.

I would like to share with you all what Galen Myotherapy is and how it could help your dog.

Galen myotherapy is a massage and exercise rehabilitation therapy which improves muscle health and aids rehabilitation of dog's with musculosketal issues and can relieve pain.

I use utilising specialised massage techniques, rehabilitive exercises and photizo red light therapy to provide pain relief for Osteoarthritis,Hip dysplasia, Subluxating patellas, Elbow dysplasia, Cruciate issues,spondylosis, soft tissue injuries, repetitive strain injuries, Ongoing lameness, Compensatory issues and behaviour issues relating to pain.

Today I spent the afternoon at chichester vets treating some of the vets and nurses wonderful dogs. This is their 3rd treatment and it was lovely to hear how well they are doing and the improvements in thier posture and gaits.

Today I also had Minnie come in for her 1st Myotherapy treatment with me. She is such a lovely girl and done so well on her 1st treatment 🥰.

I also treat Luna who's mum is a vet nurse at chichester vets. Luna is on chemotherapy at the moment so she has her treatments at home. Luna is such a lovely girl and as you can see from the photo she really enjoys her treatments 🥰.

So proud off my sponsor dog Nifty. He comes to me for his sports maintenance treatments to help keep his Muscles,Fascia, ligaments and tendons healthy and maintained for his Agility competitions.
At the weekend Nifty was at an Agility competition and done amazing bringing home all these rosettes he is such a clever boy x 🎉🎉
