Maybush Dog Therapy Tara is a qualified Merishia Dog Massage Practitioner providing a home visiting service. This non-invasive treatment is very effective.

Providing therapeutic deep tissue massage to help reduce pain and discomfort. In addition to an all over massage, Tara uses myofascia release, static and dynamic stretches, trigger point work and red light therapy to help your dog improve its mobility and flexibility and to remove tension and muscle spasms. Tara specialises in photo biomodulation, otherwise known as a red and infrared light therap

y that aids acute and chronic conditions. The light therapy helps to speed up the body's natural healing process, reduces inflammation, increases blood circulation and reduces pain. This treatment is also beneficial post surgery. Prior to any treatment Tara carries out a full gait assessment to establish areas of concern. A variety of massage techniques, suitable to your dog's individual needs, are applied to help them overcome their issues. Massage can support dogs who may be suffering from:

* Lameness
* Repetitive strain injuries
* Pre/post operations
* Rehabilitation
* Stiffness in older dogs
* Over compensating muscles (due to injury)
* Increase in mobility/flexibility
* Stress point release to aid relaxation
* Behavioural issues (that can stem from discomfort)
* Enhance performance
* Maintain general wellbeing

Issues are usually resolved after 1-3 sessions. Massage can also aid dogs who suffer with anxiety or have an aversion to being handled/touched. Tara is a qualified canine reflexologist. Maybush Dog Therapy is fully insured and gains veterinary clearance to treat your dog.

‼️ Does your older dog sleep more, hesitate at the stairs, take longer to get out of bed, or lingers behind on walks? 🐕 If yes, they are showing behavioural adjustments to joint discomfort, it’s not just that they are getting old!!

Massage helps with mobility issues providing pain relief 🙌 If you don’t help improve mobility it allows for chronic joint inflammation to progress. Working with your vet on pain management alongside alternative therapies such as deep tissue massage is really beneficial 🥰

During my sessions I use many techniques tailored to your dog 🐶 and always incorporate 🔴 red light therapy which reduces inflammation, increases blood flow, stimulates cellular repair and promotes natural pain relief.

Meet the handsome Gerry 🐶

Gerry is an 11 year old Irish Setter who has been a very poorly dog over the past year 🥲 He has multiple complications and has recently recovered from pneumonia but despite all he’s gone through he’s a very happy boy 🥰

His mum booked him in for regular massages to help him feel more comfortable and to improve his mobility. This was his first massage session and he just soaked it up 😍 What an absolute superstar ⭐️ he certainly enjoyed all the attention!!
