It was such fun to be dancing to our Equidance Avatar music again in an Inter 1 Freestyle.

Harry gave me a fantastic ride scoring a huge 75.25% - a wonderful pre-Nationals run! 🤩

Plenty of fine tuning to do over the next couple of weeks 💪🏻

It was a very successful day at Chard Equestrian yesterday coming home with 5 wins and a second!

Karen Wheeler’s Sandrocan is continuing to grow in confidence and starting to rather enjoy showing off in the white boards now! He had a first and second in his novices despite a couple of mistakes in each test - it’s all very different from his bull fighting days in Spain! 🇪🇸 🐂

Tully, owned by Anthea Derby stepped up his game doing 2 harder elementaries for the first time - winning both on 65% & 66%.

Meanwhile Harry had a fantastic pre-Nationals outing. He cruised round his Inter 1 on 71% followed by 75% in the Freestyle. We had such fun dancing to our Equidance Avatar music again 🎶

Bicton Regionals ✨

The Bartlett family’s Freestyle R gave me a super ride to come 6th on 66.6% in his Advanced Medium class. As a former 4* eventer Freebie really held his own against the dressage horses! 🦄

Harry was fantastic and came 4th in a hot Inter 1 class with 69.5% 🤩

Thrilled that he has been awarded a wild card and is off to the Nationals 🎉

Such a brilliant weekend Chard Equestrian’s Dressage Festival a couple of weeks ago 🤩

Improving on the first day’s 2nd with 65% in the Grand Prix, Harry won the Championship class on 66.6%!

Just need to iron out a few mistakes now but it’s wonderful to feel him finding his confidence at the level ✨

Whilst Karen Wheeler’s fabulous Lusitano stallion Sandrocan came 3rd in his prelim on a huge 74.6%!! 🎉 His wonderful attitude really showed it at is only his second competition and he took the busy atmosphere all in his stride!

Anthea Derby’s Tully took some offence at the flowers 🌺 🙄 but still managed 68% in his novice for 3rd and followed by 67.5% on day 2.

Saturday was a big day for Rachel Pople’s homebred 4yo Diego!

He had a super experience at his first show at the beautifully run Kings Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre even coming home with his first rosettes 🏵️ 🥉🥉

So lucky to have a Premier League just up the road at the wonderful Chard Equestrian!

Freestyle R really rose to the occasion for his first Premier League. Only our second show together and he was 5th in the Advanced Medium on 67%.

Then he won the freestyle on a huge 71% 🎶🥇

Freebie rather enjoyed dancing to some music for the first time!

Despite only 5 rides before our first tests together yesterday, the Bartlett family’s stunning Freestyle gave me 2 fabulous rides 🦄

Winning the Medium on 68% and then coming 2nd in the Advanced Medium on 66.9%.

It’s extra special to be back on a beautiful kind grey again 🤍

Harry felt fantastic in the Inter2, scoring 67.5% and 3rd 🤩

Next stop Chard Premier League this coming week ☀️
