Saturday was a big day for Rachel Pople’s homebred 4yo Diego!

He had a super experience at his first show at the beautifully run Kings Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre even coming home with his first rosettes 🏵️ 🥉🥉

So lucky to have a Premier League just up the road at the wonderful Chard Equestrian!

Freestyle R really rose to the occasion for his first Premier League. Only our second show together and he was 5th in the Advanced Medium on 67%.

Then he won the freestyle on a huge 71% 🎶🥇

Freebie rather enjoyed dancing to some music for the first time!

Despite only 5 rides before our first tests together yesterday, the Bartlett family’s stunning Freestyle gave me 2 fabulous rides 🦄

Winning the Medium on 68% and then coming 2nd in the Advanced Medium on 66.9%.

It’s extra special to be back on a beautiful kind grey again 🤍

Harry felt fantastic in the Inter2, scoring 67.5% and 3rd 🤩

Now that Sunny has found a wonderful home it’s time for Rome to find his next home after a change in circumstances for his owner.

I backed Rome (formerly Boo 👻 for those who remember) early last year and have produced him since.

He is competing at BD Prelim with 67% in both classes at his last competition. He qualified for the 4yo BD Young Pony Championships after winning his qualifier, coming 7th. He has also stayed away for training and was very settled and easy to do.

We have taken him to indoor and outdoor venues for course jumping over a round of around 60cm. He absolutely loves jumping though is still quite green.

He's a sweet chap with loads of talent, lots of photos and video available. Serious pony for the future.

Would suit a smaller mother or older sibling to help produce for a keen younger jockey to take over in the future!

Skipping our way into 2025 this week and onto an exciting new chapter ✨

As well as waving Sunny off to his wonderful new home this week, it was time for me to move on from Collective Equestrian. It has been the most amazing journey over the last 11 years (2 years with Jonny Clarke-West before setting up Collective 9 years ago), with countless memories and friendships to be coming away with 💕

I am very excited be joining Stonar School as their Lead Coach in the Riding Academy. An expansion of my role that I have loved for the past 6 years.

Exciting times ahead 🥂

A brilliant day at Kings Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre on Tuesday! 🥶

Rachel Pople’s 4yo Rome showed us how much stronger he has become recently, with 2 consistent Prelim tests both scoring 67% 🥇🥈

Tully, owned by Derby Anthea completed his Winter Regionals qualification at Novice with 68% in both his tests 🥈 🥉

Feeling the need to not be shown up by the ponies, Captain competed in both Elementary tests, scoring 67% and🥈then winning overall on 70% 🥇

As we head into a winter of training I am starting to do more riding and teaching offsite covering a fairly wide area across Somerset/Bath & Bristol. I can also hold dressage or pole work clinics at your yard for friends or liveries.

I hold my BHS Stage 5 Performance Coach (formerly BHS I) and UKCC Level 3. I have competed Internationally 🇬🇧 including the World Young Horse Championships, and have produced and competed several horses through to Grand Prix level.

A kind and systematic approach and very happy to help all ages and levels of riders with any type of horse.

A visit to my favourite Kings Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre last weekend!

4 year old Rome (previously Boo) now owned by Rachel Pople us how much he has grown up since the Young Pony Championships in early July. Feeling so much stronger and more focussed he did 2 super prelim tests 🥈🥈

Derby Anthea’s Tully continued to add to his Regional Qualfication with 68% in his Novice test 🥇🥇

Whilst my own Captain really stepped up his game for 70% in the Elementary 🥇🥇
