As standard, our World-Class Luxury Hypoallergenic Shampoo, Conditioners and Restorative Treatments based on state-of-the-art technology for dynamic and targeted cleansing and restructuring power are applied to your dog in one of our three HydroBath Pro Bathing Systems. Our dedicated Hygienic Bathing Room is Temperature and Humidity Controlled with a Fresh Air Exchange System to ensure the comfort of your pet. ReQual® world-class Italian hair and skin products and restorative well-being treatments are applied where needed at no extra cost. Due to high demand, we are currently unable to provide new grooming services for large to giant breeds. This policy does not affect any dog currently registered and already receiving FCL Grooming Services. Our grooming services have become increasingly popular, leading to a fully booked schedule. Unfortunately, this means we cannot currently accommodate large to Giant Breeds, which require additional groomers, double-size rest cages, resources, and time....

Our Story

As an independent business, FCL is dedicated to selecting only the worlds finest professional grooming products. The appropriate cosmetic & hygiene solutions will be chosen to meet the individual needs of your dog. Our ReQual Spa treatments and advanced technical hair & skin products are expertly applied at no extra cost, as you would expect from a first-class grooming salon. This includes whitening and cleansing facials, paw & nose balm, speciality colour enhancing shampoos and restorative body oil skin treatments. The ReQual Technique, advanced cosmetics for dogs, have been manufactured in Italy and researched over many years to produce the highest standard and as such are applied exclusively at FCL, delivering outstanding Professional results for all coat types and the most sensitive of skin. Its all part of the FCL experience, driven by our passion for the well-being of dogs and to be the best!

In 2009 we were very fortunate to adopt Betsy our Boston Terrier from Chesterfield RSPCA and shortly after Pippa our Miniature Schnauzer. We took care of all their needs with a passion. When it came to finding a grooming salon for them, we didn’t feel quite so lucky.

We were looking for an inviting, clean, modern salon where the groomers were qualified to a high standard and somewhere we felt very comfortable leaving our dogs. We were looking for a first-class grooming salon where the safety and well-being of dogs were important but even second class was proving difficult.

We realised at that time, that there was a need for something special, so we decided to create just that ourselves. Through hard work and dedication and years of working on our skills and training from our home-based salon and coming runner up in the prestigious Grooming salon of the Year Awards in 2012, we opened our purposed designed luxury spa salon and shop in October 2013. One year later we wanted to ensure that future groomers were working to the same high standards. So we became a Professional Dog Grooming Training Centre, delivering City & Guilds and Open Colledge Network qualifications, in association with Heavenlyz Training Services.
