Honey has found her forever home 🏡💛

✨ From Rescue to Radiance ✨
This morning, my best friend’s mum did something amazing — she rescued a sweet pup who was in desperate need of love and care 💛

Jill had taken Honey from a house in Sheffield. Her coat was in awful shape, and she was covered in sores from constant chewing and scratching.

Could I help?
Of course!

Her coat was so badly matted it had to be fully clipped off — never enjoyable for dog or groomer — but Honey was an absolute star 🤩 I did manage to save her sweet little face and part of her tail.

When a dog has been through tough times, a little kindness can work wonders. Gentle hands, patience, and the right grooming can help them not just look better, but feel better too 💛

This isn’t a post to showcase my “best work” — it’s an appreciation post for for giving this gentle girl a second chance at an amazing life 💛

To all the rescue heroes out there — thank you for giving these animals the love and second chances they deserve 🐾
Here’s to fresh starts, wagging tails, and happy hearts 💛

Hey there! I’m Holly, the proud owner of The Crate Escape — your local dog walker and groomer.

Dog walking isn’t just a job to me; it’s a passion. Whether it’s rain, shine, or squirrel sightings, I’m out there making sure your furry family members get the love, exercise, and adventure they deserve. Or helping them look (and smell!) their best in the grooming tub, I put my heart into every wagging tail I meet. 🧼🐾

But I’m more than just your go-to dog lady! When I’m not walking or grooming, you can usually find me:
🏃‍♀️ going for a run
🧘‍♀️ on my yoga mat
🏋️‍♀️ working out
🥾 hiking or at music concerts with friends
💑 or spending quality time with my partner John, my two amazing sisters, Melissa & Tori or my beautiful boy Tesla 🐶

Come spend a Friday with me 🤍

6:30 - took Tesla for a run round Linacre (he's still sulking from his bath yesterday so this is an attempt to get back in his good books 😉

8:00 - first client LUNA the toy poodle.
First things first, morning snuggles while the bath heats up (excuse the dirty mirror 🙈)

Luna is always in good condition & is such a good girl to groom, also gives the best kisses 😘

11:00 - midday packwalk. It's a quiet one today, which was actually nice for a change, MILLIE, AZULA, TESLA & BERNIE

12:30 - SASHA the Pomeranian, I had to get a photo of her wet to appreciate how teeny tiny she is! Such a sweetie, I could have taken her home with me 🏡

14:00 - MARNIE my best mate (well she was before she realised she was coming for a bath not a walk) her undercoat was WILD, I could have actually made another dog from all that hair!

16:00 - Clean up time, bins emptied & water tank refilled all ready for next week 🥰
