Good morning all!

Wow, what a storm last night! ⚡️

As a dog professional I cover heatstroke in dogs and how heat affects them in the dog first aid course we do every 2-3 years! But after this weeks weather I wanted to have a more in depth look at how we can deal with the warmer temperatures!

As always Dr. Sophie Bell provided a very informative and helpful webinar which lasted two and a half hours and was filled with the most up to date information on canine heat related illnesses and how we can treat and prevent them!

Now for another day walking your dogs- thankfully a cooler day than the start of the week!

Quick early shaded nip out for Ronnie this morning then garden let outs and house visits quick trot down the path for Albie then lots of tickles when we got back, lovely to see Ralphie & Chloe the Ragdoll cats 🥰🐾 hopefully cooler tomorrow to be able to get out for some walks 🐾💕☀️😎

Hello all
I’m in the process of messaging everyone about tomorrow, it will be to hot for walks so the ones that are home alone all day I will be going to do garden let outs 🐾😎 I obviously will not be putting any of them at risk by taking them out in this heat 🥵

Hello,

I think I’ve managed to speak to anyone who was booked in for tomorrow but if I’ve missed anyone please drop me a message!

I will only be doing one walk early in the morning for dogs who are on their own. After that I will be offering garden visits.

Your dogs safety is my priority in this heat and I will be taking every precaution to ensure they are walked early, have water readily available and the air con and fans will be on full pelt in the short time they will be in the dog van (I will be staying very local to minimise travel time)

Thankfully it’s looking a bit cooler from Wednesday!
