**Update: Thank you all for sharing and the interest in this little cat🫶 This is truly an area of cat lovers 😻 Great news is we potentially have a new home and family pending an introduction tomorrow🤞🤞**

CAT FOSTER HOME NEEDED

Can anyone offer a foster (and if all goes well a forever) home to this young boy? Vet bills and expenses can be covered.

He has moved into the garden of a client in the Weetwood/Kelsall area and despite asking locally, no owners have come forward.

He’s a super friendly boy and he is showing an eagerness to move in but the 2 resident cats are not letting him.

He has shown no aggression towards the cats he’s met and has been submissive around them.

We suspect that given the opportunity, he would make a wonderful companion.

My client has offered to pay vet bills and expenses to anyone willing to give him a temporary or permanent home. She can keep him in her house for a couple of days (away from the family cats) but we’re hoping to find him a home where he will be either by himself or accepted by the household pets!

If anyone is considering getting a young male cat, please message me! We could transport him to you.

Ordinarily I visit cats in their homes but today I had donkeys visit me!

A couple of donkeys were on the loose down our lane and we kept them safe in our garden whilst the police found their owners.

Slightly larger than the animals I usually care for but just as lovely ❤️🫏🫏❤️

Happy 11th Birthday to our wonder cat Poppy🎉😻🎉

She was injured as a kitten and it was hard to imagine she would see her first birthday, nevermind 11th ❤️

Hooray!!! Chicken freedom day has been announced. I can’t wait to tell my girls ❤️🐓❤️

Here's the update that we, and our hens, have all been waiting for! 🙌 Poultry and other captive birds in England and Wales can be let outside from 00:01 on the 18th of April 2023, unless you are in a 3km protection or captive bird (monitoring) controlled zone.

Those who intend to allow their birds outside are advised to use the upcoming days to prepare their outside areas for the release of their birds. This will include cleansing and disinfecting hard surfaces, fencing off ponds or standing water and reintroduction of wild bird deterrents.

Reactions on opening our curtains this morning couldn’t have been more different! Me: ‘argh snow 😱 I have cats and chickens to visit!!!’. Toddler: ‘yippee, let’s build a snowman!!!!’

I have my trusty foot spikes and grit in the car for just such occasions and am prepared to visit the pets in my care by foot if necessary!

Thankfully the roads were fine today, so the cats and chickens were visited and fun was had ❄️⛄️❄️
