Handsome Poki is looking for his forever home. Poki is only 5yrs old and was signed over as owner could not afford the treatment he needed to help his eye. This year, on Saturday 22nd November, Bishop’s Cleeve Parish Council is holding its Christmas Lights Switch on Event. The event is much loved by the families of Bishop’s Cleeve and the surrounding area. There will plenty of activities for all ages. The event attracts thousands of local residents to the centre of the village.

The event is free to attend. There will be a wide selection of arts, crafts, gifts, games, entertainment, activities and food and refreshment stalls to browse and purchase goods from.

We are pleased to say we will be manning our Christmassy stall, and hope to see you there. Hopefully you will find a few stocking filler gifts.

A little over three years ago I decided to adopt a cat. To cut a long story short, I adopted two, Chloe and Basil. On this day, three years ago, they came to their forever home with me. I can't begin to describe the joy these two have bought in those three years. They have made me laugh through some dark times and have a wonderful life here in the countryside. They are entertaining, loving, bonkers and naughty and I couldn't imagine life without them! To anyone thinking of adopting a cat or cats, DO IT! Happy Gotcha Day, Lady Chloe and Lord Basil ❤️
