Sales Assistant – Full Time🐴
Ingatestone Saddlery Centre is one of the leading country and equestrian retailers, based in Ingatestone, catering for everything horse and rider. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sales Assistant with good horse and retail experience to join our busy saddlery team.
If you're passionate about retail, enjoy providing excellent customer service, and have a genuine interest in equestrian products, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
• Serving and assisting customers with their purchases
• Providing excellent customer service and product advice
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-presented shop environment
• Replenishing and organising stock
• Creating and maintaining attractive shop displays and merchandising
• Handling telephone enquiries and customer queries
• Assisting with stock counts and general stock organisation
About You
The ideal candidate will:
• Have good horse knowledge and a keen interest in the equestrian industry
• Be passionate about retail and delivering outstanding customer service
• Have previous retail or customer-facing sales experience
• Be punctual, reliable, and flexible
• Have a friendly, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
• Be confident working both independently and as part of a team
• Ideally have proven sales experience in a customer-focused environment
• Be eager to learn and develop their knowledge
This is a full-time role working alternate weekends.
