☀️ Heatwave Info ☀️
I will be contacting my customers who are booked in later this week due to the excessive heat continuing when I get back from holiday.
I will be starting work as early as I possibly can as it’s just too hot in my cabin by the afternoon (even with an air con unit) to have dogs in there.
We are coming home a day early as it’s sooo hot and we have our dog here with us so will go through my diary later and see who I need to move around.

I feel privileged that Baloo feels relaxed and safe enough in my company to fall asleep on the table.
It’s also really important to let dogs lay down during the groom. It’s not natural for them to stand for long periods of time, especially larger dogs.

Blow drying a dog is a skill that is learnt, there is a knack to it. When blow drying a long haired, double coated breed you want to be able to see the skin, the dryer will blast out all the dead undercoat and dander and leave the coat silky smooth.
It’s also a good way to see tics, warts, lump and bumps etc that can be harder to see in long coats.

Meet Marloe the Labradoodle. Labradoodles come in all shapes and sizes and can have completely different coat types, some are very curly, some have very thick coats but Marloe has a straighter more wispy coat.
She is an absolute darling to have in and has been from a puppy. I’m lucky to have her as one of my customers 🩷
