🚦ROADWORKS DIVERSION 🚦

I thought I’d given quite easy, straightforward directions to get to me via Ipsden but clearly not as I’ve had 2 customers get completely lost and over 20 minutes late for their appointment today 😟

Please, please take a look at the route before you leave and leave PLENTY of extra time to get to me.

Once you get lost in Ipsden there is no phone signal so you just end up driving around in circles.

Sorry I know it’s a pain but I’ve got another 6 weeks of this to put up with 😩

🌈 🕊️ Rest in Peace dear Poppy (the white dog in the photo). Darling Poppy crossed over rainbow bridge this week, she always came in with her best mate Finn the Shih-Tzu.
She was such a sweet little girl and a pleasure to have in, Finn is missing her dearly and so are her owners.
So sad to hear of your passing, run free Poppy 🕊️ 🌈 💓

🌈 🕊️ Beautiful Willow (the black cocker spaniel) sadly passed over rainbow bridge this week. I have groomed her for 6 years, she was a very sweet dog and did amazing to get to 15 1/2 years old, she is in the photos with her daughter Bramble.
I know she was so loved by her family and they all miss her dearly, run free lovely Willow 💞 🕊️ 🌈

🚨 🚧 ROAD CLOSURE INFO 🚧 🚨

The main road through Checkendon is going to be closed from 25th August - 10th October! Yes that’s right, for 6 weeks 😫

Here is the easiest diversion route:
If coming from Woodcote take the A4074 towards Wallingford.
Turn right at the Stone Masons towards Ipsden along Church Lane.
Go straight over the crossroads onto Well Place Road.
At the bottom of Well Place Road turn right onto Berins Hill.
Once up the hill take your first available right turn.
Go past Cox’s wood yard and then straight over the crossroads, this will bring you down the lane to me!

If you’re coming to me from Henley/Stoke Row direction you should be ok as I think the road works are the other end of the village but I will keep you updated once it all starts.

Please leave extra time to get to me and look up the route beforehand and please, please don’t moan at me about the diversion, I know it’s a pain in the bum as I’ll be doing it every day for 6 weeks.

It’s totally out of my control and I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused 😕

I know we are only in August but I need to start thinking about December bookings!
If you’re on an 8 week schedule there are only 2 appointments left before Christmas, if you’re on a 6 week schedule there are only 3 bookings left this year.
I am encouraging people to book the next 2 or 3 appointments in as December is my busiest month and it’s already getting booked up.
This helps me be prepared and it makes sure you get the time and date you want 😀
