Last cria of the year. A big strong lass, up and feeding in no time. Just as well because it’s a chilly morning and she was born shortly after 7 am.
Just as a treat for all the fans in Burgh-by-sands all the cria are in the roadside paddock so you can play ‘spot the newborn’ from over the gate. 😉

Bring back the Sun, and the lovely people who visited the Alpacas on Sunday. Gucci who has started being a bit cheeky with his tricks was expertly handled by Taylor. And all the other Alpacas made friends for life with their walkers.

Cria shearing day.
But before those beautiful baby locks go I was lucky enough to have some expert fleece-shot visitors. Thanks so much to Barbara and Paul for helping capture a rather nice crop of cria fleeces.
Jamie Meakin did such a great and gentle job of shearing these little ones. All mums and cria are happy, the little ones are strutting around in their new outfits. 💕
