This is the summary of what our charity has been involved in during May 2026.
We currently have 36 dogs in our care, 2 of whom are reserved at the present time.
We had one flight on 24 May 2026 for 3 dogs all of which went into UK foster and all are still available. 3 other dogs in UK foster were rehomed during May. One dog we rehomed in 2024 became available again and she is now reserved subject to home check. We currently have 4 dogs in UK foster all of whom are still available.
Our next flight is 5 July and we are currently arranging which dogs will be travelling on it.
We donated £250 to Mission spay the strays in Nicosia, and £350 to help 2 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue groups. We also paid our Cyprus vet and kennel bills the total amount of which was 9076.50 euros..
We received £618 from Jan's bonus ball, £1160 from Nicola's fundraiser, £3233 from the Apollo mini break raffle, £850 from the puppy name sponsors, £500 from Jackie Wright in memory of Hanna who sadly passed away recently, £35 from Crazydogs commission on branded items sold, £50 from Jill Larcombe, £100 from an anonymous donor, £20 from Claire hewitt, £281.03 from Easyfundraising, £100 from Shirley Windsor, £305 from a quiz night organised by Marian Liabert, £100 from Sue Farrer, and £50 from Johanne Evans.
Our annual photo competition will begin shortly and all the winning entries will feature in our 2027 calendar which will go on sale in October.
Across our three Facebook groups (Rehoming Cyprus Pointers, Apollo’s Angels and Apollo’s Angels Events) 197 new members joined and there were a total of 12131posts, comments and reactions during May.

This is the summary of what our charity has been involved in during April 2026.
We currently have 27 dogs in our care, 4 of whom are reserved at the present time.
We had one flight on 19 April 2026 for 5 dogs, 2 of whom had homes in place and 3 went into foster homes and 2 of those are now reserved. 2 other dogs in UK foster were rehomed during April. We currently have 5 dogs in UK foster, 4 of whom are reserved.
Our next flight is 31 May and we are currently arranging which dogs will be travelling on it.
We donated £250 to Mission spay the strays in Nicosia, and £350 to help 2 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue groups. We also paid UK vet bills the total amount of which was £851.93.
We received £340 from Jan's bonus ball, £275 from Nicola's fundraiser for Danny, £33.21 from PayPal giving fund, £25 from Karen Hardwick, £150 from Lottie Long Legs, £50 from Jackie Spencer and £20 in general donations.
The Apollo's Angels mega spring mini break raffle ends on Sunday 3 May, lots of fabulous prizes to be won.
Across our three Facebook groups (Rehoming Cyprus Pointers, Apollo’s Angels and Apollo’s Angels Events) 173 new members joined and there were a total of 13,630 posts, comments and reactions during April.

This is the summary of what our charity has been involved in during March 2026.
We currently have 16 dogs in our care, 5 of whom are reserved at the present time.
We had one flight on 8 March 2026 for 13 dogs, 7 of whom had homes in place and 6 went into foster homes. 3 dogs in UK foster were rehomed during March.
We currently have 6 dogs in UK foster, 3 of whom are reserved.Our next flight is 19 April and we are currently arranging which dogs will be travelling on it.
We donated £250 to Mission spay the strays in Nicosia, and £450 to help 5 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue groups.We paid our outstanding Cyprus vet and kennel fees the total amount of which was 14598 euros. We also paid a UK vet bill for a dog in foster which was £1170.
We received £435 from Jan's bonus ball, £730 from Tracy's B&B raffle, £620 from Nicola's mothers day fundraiser, £50 from family and friends of Helen Styles in her memory, £100 from Jill Larcombe, £20 from Pam Carter, £50 from Lisa Reily, £39.66 from PayPal giving fund, a donation from a gentleman who wished to remain anonymous, £440 in entry fees for our 2027 calendar pin up competition, and £20 in general donations.

We currently have 25 dogs in our care, 3 of whom are reserved at the present time.
We had one flight on 25 January 2026 for 5 dogs, all of whom went into foster. 3 other dogs in UK foster were rehomed during January. We currently have 5 dogs in UK foster.
Our next flight is on 8 March and we are in the process of arranging which dogs will be travelling on it.
We paid our Cyprus vet and kennel bills the total amount of which was 11208.50 euros.
We donated £250 to Mission spay the strays in Nicosia, and £500 to help 6 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue groups.
We received £396 from Jan's bonus ball, £225 from Nicola's parents 50th wedding anniversary fundraising event, £209.55 from PayPal giving fund, £90 from Sharon Huwen, £100 from Jackie Wright in memory of Brooke who sadly passed away recently, £40 from Camille de Kok and £30 in general donations.

This is the summary of what our charity has been involved in during December 2025.
We currently have 21 dogs in our care, 2 of whom are reserved at the present time.
We had one flight on 14 December for 6 dogs, 2 of whom had forever homes in place, 4 went into foster. 2 of them have now been rehomed and the remaining 2 are both reserved subject to home check. 2 other dogs in UK foster were rehomed during December.
Our next flight is on 25 January and we are in the process of arranging which dogs will be travelling on it.
We paid our Cyprus vet bills the total amount of which was 2952 euros. We also paid £1230 to return a large number of travel crates to Cyprus.
We donated £250 to Mission spay the strays in Nicosia, and £335 to help 7 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue groups.

During 2025 we rehomed 85 dogs, donated £3925 to help 32 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue groups, £1610 to several small shelters for various items, and also donated £3250 to the Cyprus street dog neutering programme.
We would like to thank everyone for all their help and support during 2025.

This is the summary of what our charity has been involved in during October.
We currently have 29 dogs in our care, 2 of whom are reserved at the present time.
Our next flight is on 9 November for 3 dogs, 2 of whom have forever homes in place and one is going into foster. We currently have 7 dogs in UK foster and 2 other dogs in UK foster were rehomed during October.
We paid our Cyprus vet bills the total amount of which was 4592 euros. We also paid a UK vet bill of £65.
We donated £250 to Mission spay the strays in Nicosia, and £130 to Paws for homes foundation for 2 new dog houses. We also donated £250 to help two pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue groups.
We received £50 from Stephanie Young, £360 from Jan's bonus ball, £100 from Nicola Thain, £100 from Lottie Long Legs, £560 from Nicola's fundraiser for Ellis, and £30 in general donations.

This is the summary of what our charity has been involved in during September.
We currently have 25 dogs in our care, 4 of whom are reserved at the present time.
We had one flight on 28 September for 10 dogs, 5 of which had forever homes in place and 5 went into UK foster. We currently have 9 dogs in UK foster 2 of whom are reserved. 3 other dogs in UK foster were rehomed during September.
Our next flight is on 2 November and we are currently arranging which dogs will be travelling on it.
We paid our Cyprus vet and kennel bills the total amount of which was 14727.10 euros.
We donated £250 to Mission spay the strays in Nicosia, and £250 to Little Ranch Rescue. We also donated £150 to help a pointer in the care of another Cyprus based rescue group.
We received £50 from Annabel Gunn's dog blanket sale, £2440.76 from HMRC which was a Gift Aid payment from past donations, £310 from Jan's bonus ball, £100 from Nicola's fundraiser, £85 from Camille de Kok, £62 from Jill Larcombe's donation jar and £30 in general donations.
