This is the summary of what our charity has been involved in during July 2026.
We currently have 36 dogs in our care, 14 of whom are reserved at the present time.
We had one flight 5 July for 5 dogs one of which had a forever home in place and 4 went into foster. 3 of those dogs were rehomed during July and 1 is reserved subject to home check. One other dog in UK foster was rehomed during July and we currently have 1 dog in UK foster who is reserved subject to home check.
We have one flight 2 August for 19 dogs, 5 of whom have forever homes in place and 14 are going into UK foster.
We donated £250 to Mission spay the strays in Nicosia, and £150 to help 3 pointer pups in the care of another Cyprus based rescue group. We also donated £100 Take Away The Tears and £250 to Golden Paws in North Cyprus.
We paid our Cyprus kennel and vet bills the total amount of which was 13092 euros..
We received £455 from Jan's bonus ball, £300 from Adam Dunn, £600 from Nicola's fundraisers, £100 from Lottie Long Legs, £56.46 from PayPal Giving Fund and £20 in general donations.
The Apollo summer auction and annual photo competition for our 2027 calendar ends on 2 August. The calendar and Christmas cards will be available late September/early October.
Across our three Facebook groups (Rehoming Cyprus Pointers, Apollo’s Angels and Apollo’s Angels Events) 296 new members joined and there were a total of 16654 posts, comments and reactions during July.

This is the summary of what our charity has been involved in during June 2026.
We currently have 34 dogs in our care, 3 of whom are reserved at the present time.
We have one flight 5 July for 5 dogs one of which has a forever home and 4 are going into foster. 3 other dogs in UK foster were rehomed during June. One dog we rehomed in 2026 became available again and she is now reserved. We currently have 1 dog in UK foster who is reserved.
We donated £250 to Mission spay the strays in Nicosia, and £500 to help 3 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue groups. We also donated £150 to help a pointer in Lebanon and donated £100 to Troulloi pound. We paid our Cyprus vet bill the total amount of which was 1952.50 euros..
We received £376 from Jan's bonus ball, £400 from Nicola's fundraisers, £383 from Nicola's birthday fundraiser, £850 from Jacqui McCormack, £100 from Helen Turnbull-Smith, £174 from Carol Parsons plant sale, £825 from the calendar monthly categories sponsors, £180 from Sharon Huwen's plant sale, £250 from Adam Dunn, £300 from Tina Bond in memory of her late husband Marcus who sadly passed away recently, £45 from Sally Albon donated meds sale, £30 from Karen Greenhaff donated meds sale, £100 from Lou Brogdon in memory of her Apollo's Angel Harry who sadly passed away recently and £20 in general donations.
Our annual photo competition has now begun and all the winning entries will feature in our 2027 calendar which will go on sale in October.
The Apollo summer auction will begin shortly and if anyone has any items they would like to donate please contact Tracy Payne.
Across our three Facebook groups (Rehoming Cyprus Pointers, Apollo’s Angels and Apollo’s Angels Events) 192 new members joined and there were a total of 10407 posts, comments and reactions during June.

Delighted to announce we now have a new range of dog food available called Wilderness 80 which is an all life stages, grain free 80% animal content, 20% functional ingredients product and is available is three different recipes. We hope to have it added to our website shop later today

We had one flight on 24 May 2026 for 3 dogs all of which went into UK foster and all are still available. 3 other dogs in UK foster were rehomed during May. One dog we rehomed in 2024 became available again and she is now reserved subject to home check. We currently have 4 dogs in UK foster all of whom are still available.
Our next flight is 5 July and we are currently arranging which dogs will be travelling on it.

This is the summary of what our charity has been involved in during April 2026.
We currently have 27 dogs in our care, 4 of whom are reserved at the present time.
We had one flight on 19 April 2026 for 5 dogs, 2 of whom had homes in place and 3 went into foster homes and 2 of those are now reserved. 2 other dogs in UK foster were rehomed during April. We currently have 5 dogs in UK foster, 4 of whom are reserved.
Our next flight is 31 May and we are currently arranging which dogs will be travelling on it.
We donated £250 to Mission spay the strays in Nicosia, and £350 to help 2 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue groups. We also paid UK vet bills the total amount of which was £851.93.
We received £340 from Jan's bonus ball, £275 from Nicola's fundraiser for Danny, £33.21 from PayPal giving fund, £25 from Karen Hardwick, £150 from Lottie Long Legs, £50 from Jackie Spencer and £20 in general donations.
The Apollo's Angels mega spring mini break raffle ends on Sunday 3 May, lots of fabulous prizes to be won.
