Sun was shining and I didn’t wear a coat 🥳.

Misty stole the ball and Tresco was not impressed, luckily she never holds it for long. We played a few search games, and when my back was turned and I was sorting something out with Teddy. Tresco disappeared . Yep he ran off 🙈. We all walked through the ditches and brambles looking for him. Misty loved it, and Spencer did because it was water and mud 😂.

He eventually turned up, with no ball 😭. So, the pheasants win.

I nearly face planted the mud as well. I was rolling up Spencer’s suit and Teddy suddenly shot off, whilst attached to my waist. I was bending down so my balance wasn’t great. Luckily my wellies kept me in one place 😅😂

What a lovely morning! Max was bonkers to start with, ran around like crazy so Bonnie thought he was up for a game of chase. Within minutes I witnessed Max rolling down the hill 🙈. I know I shouldn’t have laughed, but I couldn’t help it. He just got straight up and ran to me.

Bailey and Bonnie had a good chase, they usually grab a stick and parade it around until someone starts chasing them. When they go bonkers, Max joins in.

Ludo managed to find his toy whilst it was hanging in a tree! I was very impressed.

Blue and Rico definitely have a bromance going on. They often follow each other around and Blue always sticks up for Rico if he thinks he needs help. It is lovely to watch.

Toto and Rico ran around for a bit, but then all of a sudden there was some very important grass to sniff. This is actually to stop the chase! Rico didn’t want to participate any more - great communication and one that Toto listened to.

Honey got really muddy on this walk, she was digging for something and ended up with a clump of soil attached to her muzzle. I had to remove itbecause she was air snapping to try and get rid of it!

Mabel and Daisy were tip toeing around the field, until they spotted fox poo 🙈

We had some stick stealing, guess who?

Posing, guess who?

Avoiding the camera, guess who?

Looking handsome? Now that could be a tricky guess!

Being polite?

Muddy paws on trousers? 50/50 because there are two culprits 😂

Hi Everyone,

I’m running the Newport 10k in April. Yes, actually running. Voluntarily.

I’m raising money for Dogs Trust, because if I’m going to suffer, it might as well be for a brilliant cause.

I know everyone gets asked for donations all the time, and I rarely do this, but if you can spare a few pounds I’d be really grateful.

I’ll even post a picture of my bright red face after I’ve done it - now that you’re going to want to see or maybe not!

A highlight of the Welsh running calendar, the ABP Newport Marathon Festival delivers a fast, flat and scenic marathon - where nearly 70% of finishers snag PBs on a route that showcases Newport’s icon

Well today I wrapped my coat around my waist 😱. We were blessed with a few hours of sun 🥳

The girls were at it again, think Penelope was glad to have her friend all to herself. Otis was once again the judge - he’s so funny because he’ll run at the girls growling/barking when they’re going crazy and then he’ll look at me. I always respond with a thank you Otis because he does really help me out.

Ollie, Bodie and Millie mooched with me. It was a lovely walk in the sunshine (and mud)

What a great walk we had this morning! Marnie is becoming a little poser just like Bailey and Poppy.

Bailey always jumps onto logs, stones, whatever he can see that he feels warrants a photo. Barney isn’t as agile, but he always looks around to work out where he can go to get in on the action 🥹

Gus graced us with a few photos - he’s not one to pose for the camera .

We bumped into Anna today the dogs got to hang out for a bit.

The sun was shining so bright it was gorgeous! We’ve missed you sunshine ☀️

We had a few poo rollers today, Blue (of course) and Honey 😱. Covered themselves. Both got a shampoo at the end but I could still smell it.

Freddie and Ruby had a run around together which was lovely. I could watch dogs run around with one another all day.

Sunshine + great dogs = lovely walk 😍

Indy attempted to initiate play with Max again today… and I wouldn’t say he was particularly enthralled by the offer 😂

She approached with really soft body language, loose and wiggly. Max was much more rigid, he did do some play bows but that doesn’t always mean let’s play, dogs can use it to stop the interaction when it’s getting too much.

Max isn’t massively into play from what I’ve seen. He tends to prefer someone running so he can have a good chase. I do wonder though over time whether he would enjoy it more with Indy.

Indy was good, she didn’t keep pestering him, she simply thought, “fine then,” and wandered off to try Bonnie instead… who was much more reciprocal 😂

A really lovely walk overall. And no rain! 🥳

We got a bit wet on this one!

A lovely chilled walk with a bit of ball stealing between Misty and Tresco.

About Me

Reservoir Dogs Llanishen was born in May 2018 and is going strong. I initially started the business with a friend but sadly due to a medical condition she could no longer work so I’m doing it solo now. Life is busy with three young boys, a dog, a husband and a business to run BUT I’m doing what I love and it beats working in an office like I had done for 16 years with Virgin Atlantic Airways as a Customer Service Manager. So instead of managing people I’m now managing dogs!

I absolutely love what I do and have wanted to work with dogs since I was a child and now the dream is real. I have my own pooch who was born in August 2016 and her name is Storm, she’s a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and she’s my baby too. She’s such an amazing dog with my boys and I can’t imagine life without her now, she’s an integral part of the family.

I have a real interest in dog training and dog behaviour and I’m currently studying ‘Advanced Dog Behaviour’ through the British College of Canine Studies which I’m throughly enjoying and I still take Storm training (we’ve been going since she was 16 weeks old), it’s nice just to get some time on our own.

Dog walking isn’t just a job for me it’s my life and my passion. Every dog I walk I treat like they’re my own because I know how I would want Storm to be looked after if she wasn’t with me.
