Today we bumped into a client I’m currently working with whose dog can struggle with dogs she doesn’t know. Her people have been doing brilliantly and implemented some great techniques to help with recall. She had a great time with this lot, even had a play with Tresco! Her recall was fantastic as well.
I’m proud of my group ☺️

Bertie exercised the group for me today. I think I could have dropped them all off at the woods, and sat in my van 😂.
Bertie was off on a critter hunt and he had everyone following him.
Misty was off doing sausage things, eg digging, and hunting.
Hugo was just following the crowd, but with his nose down and Hudley was following Bertie!
I was left all alone 😭

It’s difficult to see where the paths are now because of all the leaves. Good job I know the woods like the back of my hand 😅
The temperature is dropping and I love it! Nothing better than a dry crisp morning.
The walk was lovely, Bailey was quite talkative (as usual) 😂. Max didn’t get muddy, in fact none of them did. Just showered off the paws today 🥳

Penelope was a traitor today, I couldn’t believe it! We bumped into Rico and his human, who were with someone else AND Penelope decided to walk off with them. I had to phone through 😂
Got my revenge though because when Penelope eventually returned, Rico came too 😂
Lots of fun on this walk, the girls did their usual wrestling BUT they also went off into the woods. Penelope is a bad influence on Misty 😂.
Panda, was her usual cool as a cucumber self. She’s just happy walking by me (nothing to do with the occasional treat that so happens to slip out of my hand and into her mouth). I just can’t help myself 😬

A bunch of posers today! Daisy got stuck in too, whilst Gus always hangs back BUT still expects a treat. I’m awful because I can never leave a dog out when dishing the treats out 🙈. They use their doggy powers (aka puppy dog eyes) 😂

Misty joined us today and she loved chasing after Bertie! She would chase him and then he’d run behind her, not actually chasing her but she loved it anyway.
It was Beti’s last walk with the group today. I’m very sad to see her go, but she just wasn’t enjoying them anymore. She wasn’t comfortable and coaxing her out just didn’t seem fair. So, we decided that it was best to say farewell 😭
As dogs get older, they can get aches and pains and maybe having dogs around in close proximity made her nervous. Who knows . We will miss her, and I hope that I’ll see her around on my walks.

A squirrel had a lucky escape today! It ran straight in front of Lola but luckily
managed to get up a tree, with Lola hot on its heels 😬.
Indy ran around like a loon, Evie and Barney are like two peas in a pod. They just mooched and Charlie did his usual woodland roll. He loves rolling around in the leaves 🥰

A very mellow walk with this group, well Teddy wasn’t quite mellow but the rest were!
We just mooched, got rained on, met some fellow friends! In fact I bumped into a pup who came to classes with me and did a 121. It was so lovely to see him, and he was very pleased to see me too 🥰. He’s another Charlie boy, a beautiful, gentle Golden Retriever.

Ludo outdid himself today, not only with the mud rolling, but poo rolling and eating 🤢. I have no idea what was going on in his crazy brain today!
Max also joined in with the mud bath, always to be expected 😂
Bailey went nuts, think he was happy to be back and Barney was his usual, cool as a cucumber self. That was until Max annoyed him and then he zoomed around the woods like a nutter 😂

I thought I’d give Tresco a ball today, hoping it would keep him occupied so he wouldn’t start sniffing out pheasants. Instead I hid the ball for him to sniff out. It proved very difficult because I forgot I had another ball crazy spaniel. Morgan, found it and then paraded it around, when she dropped it, Tresco swooped in. Morgan then spent the next few minutes looking for it 😂

Misty was on a squirrel mission! She covered a fair amount of distance on those little sausage legs!
Bertie and Hugo were just happy plodding along, and Gus and Daisy kept close. Neither of them ever wander far.

Reservoir Dogs Llanishen was born in May 2018 and is going strong. I initially started the business with a friend but sadly due to a medical condition she could no longer work so I’m doing it solo now. Life is busy with three young boys, a dog, a husband and a business to run BUT I’m doing what I love and it beats working in an office like I had done for 16 years with Virgin Atlantic Airways as a Customer Service Manager. So instead of managing people I’m now managing dogs!
I absolutely love what I do and have wanted to work with dogs since I was a child and now the dream is real. I have my own pooch who was born in August 2016 and her name is Storm, she’s a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and she’s my baby too. She’s such an amazing dog with my boys and I can’t imagine life without her now, she’s an integral part of the family.
I have a real interest in dog training and dog behaviour and I’m currently studying ‘Advanced Dog Behaviour’ through the British College of Canine Studies which I’m throughly enjoying and I still take Storm training (we’ve been going since she was 16 weeks old), it’s nice just to get some time on our own.
Dog walking isn’t just a job for me it’s my life and my passion. Every dog I walk I treat like they’re my own because I know how I would want Storm to be looked after if she wasn’t with me.
So if you’re looking for a professional dog walker who will love your dog as much as you do then look no further!
