Cat visits with this little cutie again last week ❤️❤️ barney. He's such a playful fluffball who loves food just as much as me! i have a whole album of him meowing impatiently and patiently waiting for sam to dish up his meals hes such an independent gent who knows what he wants i love him 🤣🤣

Me nd sam have both been pet sitting in seperate houses nd ive been desperate to go see the gang he's been with nd i finally got to go over nd meet these 3 beauties who live with emi and kai ❤️ I no they are the type of cat that you either love or hate but I freaking love them 🥰

BRUCE HAS HAD A POO 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 FINALLLLLY he's definitely got his zoomies back even tho we keep trapping him in like a child to stop that 🤣 and he's getting uber spoilt with his freshly prepared food thinking he's king compared to the others 🤣🤣🤣

UPDATE *** Brucey was officially discharged from the vets today on the condition that he doesnt go downhill over the weekend and has a poo during the weekend we are still waiting its been 10 days now so fingers crossed he poops soon but hes still eating small bits so we are getting there! They are super happy with his progress and only want him back if he doesnt poo or if he goes downhill or if his wound gets infected so im keeping all fingers crossed but wanted to update you all sorry its taken so long i had to rush straight to work this morning after bringing him home nd been so distracted getting lots of kisses off him since being home ❤️🥰

Sorry guys I didn't do update this morning as it was all a big rush. The vets were happy for me to bring bruce home on the condition that he ate by lunch time and thank God he has eaten the smallest bits of chicken this morning and this afternoon so they are happy for him to stay home for the day and return again tomoro morning 🥰 I had my first lick/kiss off him today after almost 9 days of him being so poorly so ov course I was over the moon at that ❤️ he hasn't really touched water today so we are keeping an eye on him closely but he has officially tried to have a poo altho nothing came out so here's to hoping he continues to progress forward 🤞🙏🤞🙏

BRUCEY UPDATE ***

He's home ❤️❤️❤️ we do have to take him back tomoro morning to be assessed again and they will determine if they want him to stay again or if they are happy to let him continue treatment at home.

He's hydrated so hopefully his body can fight to heal himself 🤞 he's definitely high as a kite right now pupils are wider than I've ever seen 🤣 but he's alert to our sounds today and more interested in looking at us and lifting his head.

He was an absolute ass and decided to jump over the arm of our sofa to get comfy before we even finished walking through the door so we have penned him off in his own little space lower to the floor to protect himself and his wounds 🙈🙈 fingers crossed he has a good positive night sleep and is feeling much better again tomoro 🤞🤞 will keep everyone updated

On another serious note THANK YOU TO EVERYONE SERIOUSLY FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS so many of you have offered to pay months of walks in advance and to donate and help and get food and everything else you have all offered aswell as the sheer love and support we have recieved with bruce we are seriously so greatful to every single one of you we did have a massive cry today just feeling the love and support off every single one of you! Sending you all so much love and lots of wet slobbery fat head kisses from bruce (when he's better) 🤣

No update other than we set up a whole camp site in our living room so we could stay with brucey all night 🤣 he woke up once for a quick toilet at 10.30 and then stayed in bed the rest of the night so fingers crossed he has a good hydrating day at the vets today🤞🤞🤞

❤️ my boy is home but only for the night.

I did ask if he could stay at the hospital but they were comfortable letting him home provided we are with him and keep him calm and away from my other dogs and at any signs of sickness,crying or discomfort of any sort other than his drugged up self then we are to take him straight to the hospital but if hes ok through the night we are due back at 9am for another full day of antibiotics and fluids to continue getting his hydration levels back to where they should be!

He's extremely out of it right now which is to be expected but the object they removed is unknown and it's definitely none of his toys or anything so we dont no if it's been thrown into the garden or where he could have picked this object up from but it's out now so we are just praying he can be his solid staffy self and heal swiftly with no complications in the mean time 🙏🤞🙏🤞🙏🤞🙏🤞

UPDATE ON BRUCE HES JUST HAD SURGERY ****

They did find a blockage altho they really arnt sure what it is so il find out later

Unfortunately there was complications during surgery and hes had to have about 4 inches of bowel removed as it was infected and dead and spreading to the rest of his bowel.

All bloods have come back bad his electrolytes, sodium, potassium, red and white blood cell counts are not good at all.

They arnt sure if they will release him today as he's so poorly but if they do release him to me he does need to be monitored for the next 3 days as there's every chance he could suffer bowel leakage or abdominal infection which will be catastrophic so if he's home I will be off work I'm so sorry to let everyone down (nats gang) if he does get transfered to valley vets hospital tonight then I will work tomoro so I will tx you all individually later when I no more from the vets xx

Update on bruce ** he's going in for surgery 9am tomoro morning will keep you all updated as the day goes on xx

I forgot to say we will be working as soon as we drop bruce off the vets have confirmed they are likely to keep him all day but will confirm what's actually happening shortly after he's admitted once xrays are done so we will be getting walks done as usual but starting abit later in the morning once we are out of vets xx

still no progress from bruce he hasn't stopped being sick and still isn't pooping! We have managed to get him to eat some puppy moose, a digestive biscuit and about 3 gravy bones over the weekend but he's just bringing it all back up an hour later 😭 so now we are looking at a potential blockage i am gonna be returning to work this week but I may have to reschedule/change/cancel depending on vets! Please can I ask that you arrange a back up this week just incase you all no I hate letting anyone down.

We have also recieved some devastating news about one of our (nats) clients sudden passing so I am totally not ok in general in all ways so please just bare with me whilst we deal with this ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We have managed to get him to eat some puppy moose, a digestive biscuit and about 3 gravy bones over the weekend but he's just bringing it all back up an hour later 😭 so now we are looking at a potential blockage i am gonna be returning to work this week but I may have to reschedule/change/cancel depending on vets! Please can I ask that you arrange a back up this week just incase you all no I hate letting anyone down.

We have also recieved some devastating news about one of our (nats) clients sudden passing so I am totally not ok in general in all ways so please just bare with me whilst we deal with this ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hey guys thanks for understanding today and the last couple of days i just got home from emergency vets with my bruce they are leaning towards allergic reaction/toxic poisoning but we have no idea with what so we have some medication to give him to stop him being sick and pain relief and we have to keep an eye on him to see if we can get him to eat and poo till Sunday and if no improvement then out of hours down valley vets so fingers crossed he improves with this medication but thank you all for allowing me to change up and cancel this week it's been a chaotic couple of months hopefully things can settle going forward 🤣🙈
