New Arrivals 🧡🖤🧡

This weekend Ni**od, Jasmine and Dennis joined their new families 🥹

🧡 Ni**od, now Ziggy was given up by his family in Hungary
His forever family run a clamping site in Hereford so he will love his new outdoorsy lifestyle

🖤 Dennis our Daxie pup was found wandering the streets
His new Dads immediately fell in love with him and he also gains a lovely Vizslamentés sister Poppy 🐾

🧡 Jasmine now Lollie was rescued from a sad situation where she spent most of her time in a cardboard box 😢
Lollie now has a farm to call her home and 3 fur sisters

Happy adventures Ziggy, Dennis and Lollie

Timothy is a four year old Weimaraner that was found abandoned on the street 😢

Thankfully he is thriving in foster care now and is a very friendly, happy boy

Timothy is great with other dogs but not so good with very small fluffy dogs or cats

✅ Neutered
✅ Microchipped
✅ Vaccinated
✅ Sociable with other dogs
✅ Loves human attention
✅ Great with children

Timothy tested positive for heart worm and started treatment straight away. We will provide his medication once in the UK until he tests clear.

If you can offer Timothy a breed experienced, loving family preferably with resident dog/dogs please get in touch

‼️ Urgent - Abandoned Vizsla puppy‼️

This very skinny female Vizsla puppy has been dumped in a shocking state 😞

She only weighs 7kg and we think is around four months old

We are getting daily requests for help at the moment and all our fosters are full!

We’ve got her to the safety of the vets for now but we need financial help for her rehabilitation, medication, food, transport, vaccines

Please if you can spare anything, every pound will really help

New Arrivals 🥹 🤎 🐾

This week three of our rescues started their new lives in the UK

You may remember Remi and Clover (Lola and Nellie) the GWP sisters who were dumped in a kill shelter.

They have come such a long way since their rescue and we are so pleased that Remi has been welcomed by an existing Vizslamentés adopter and gains an older fur sister Safi.

And to make the happy ending complete, Clover has been adopted by their in-laws and will only be a mile away 😊
The girls are already making themselves at home

Also arriving to his new family this week is gorgeous little Derek the Wire Haired Dachshund

Derek was found wandering the streets of Budapest 😞 but this little boy now has his forever family

🆘 Urgent - Help needed 🙏🏻

This week has been overwhelming with rescue requests!!

All of these amazing dogs desperately need our help

- Vizsla puppy abandoned with Parvo
- A male and female Vizsla in a kill shelter
- GSP puppy left at a petrol station
- Young GWP boy dumped by a hunter

Every dog that comes into our care needs money for transport, vet checks, medication, vaccines, rabies, food, neutering and spaying

Please help if you can with anything you can spare 🙏🏻

We have no funding and are all volunteers so every pound goes to the dogs in need.

Meet Dennis 🩵🐾

This lovely Dachshund puppy was on the streets being fed by locals until we took him into our care

Dennis is only about 9 months old and is a typical Dachshund full of personality and cheeky

🆘 ‼️ Urgent Help Please 🙏🏻 🙏🏻

This Weimaraner boy has been abandoned and has obviously been living rough for a while 😢

He is very skinny and covered in ticks

We need all the help we can get with a constant stream of requests for rescue help.

Transport, food, vaccines, blood tests, spaying and neutering, medications all costs money and our debts are mounting up

We have no grants or charity funding and rely solely on donations from our amazing supporters and adopters

Puppy Jasmine was rescued from a drug user and was being mistreated 😢

She is now loving foster life!
Jasmine is around four months old, healthy and ready to travel to her new family

Vizslamentés UK Rescue Trust (registered charity number 1162503) is a UK based charity which supports the only specialist HPR breed rescue in Hungary – our sister organisation Vizslamentés Magyarorszag. We provide funding, support and carefully selected adoptive homes for vizslas and other pointers rescued and rehabilitated in Hungary.
