After 9 months of having this booked in the diary, Becky Curls & Collars Dog Grooming and I finally made it happen—and what a day it was! 🙌🏻

I’ve had the pleasure of catching up with Becky over the past few months at events but spending a whole day grooming, chatting, and working together was so niceee🫶🏻✨

Alora has an incredibly soft coat for a poodle, so the day was all about helping Becky get the very best from a coat that can be quite challenging to manage. We approached it much like a drop coat, and having faced similar struggles with Chai, I could completely relate. Coats like this can feel overwhelming, but mastering the combing technique, along with knowing what products/ scissors will best complement such a coat gave Becky a fantastic foundation to build from🔥

It was a process, and we kept the end goal firmly in sight—but I’m absolutely OBSESSED with Alora’s final look. She’s basically a taller, slimmer version of Chai! 🤭🥹

Lovely day spent with Sarah & poodle Miley🧡

Sarah shared the areas of focus for the day, so we set off straight away to bring her vision to life!
We concentrated on creating beautifully lifted, floaty column legs on Miley to give the illusion of extra length and height to her overall appearance. We also crafted the sweetest teddy-bear face with a subtle Asian-inspired flare through the muzzle, while keeping the ears perfectly balanced with her trim and size. I think she looks like the most perfect little sweetie pie 🥰🥧

Absolutely adored working with this pair and can’t wait to see the exciting future ahead for Sarah and Miley! 🫶🏻

What a gorgeous duo of poodles we had 🐩 Romy & Gabbana ✨

It was an absolute pleasure to welcome Sapphire and Romy back to the salon for another training day. This time, Sapphire was keen to build on what she learned previously and took the lead in grooming Romy herself. We were also delighted to meet Gabbana—aka “Booby”—and honestly, photos don’t do her tiny size justice. She’s such a little bean!🥹🥰

I’m always more than happy to support trainees in whatever way suits them best—whether that’s me completing the groom entirely, splitting the work together, or guiding them as they take full control. Every training day is completely tailored to the individual’s needs and confidence level🫶🏻

Wishing both Jasmine and Sapphire the very best as they step into their next chapters. I’m excited to see them make their mark in the grooming world and beyond ✨

Utterly obsessed with Phoebe — now officially renamed Princess Phoebe 👑 — and her incredible transformation. Rebecca Brightmoor Luxury Dog Grooming has been patiently growing her coat out from a modern trim, leaving her untouched for nine months ahead of our session 😅😮‍💨

The Asian Princess head style was truly made for Phoebe. It captures her femininity beautifully, highlights her stunning phantom markings, and perfectly complements her elegant poodle proportions.

Watching the style gradually come together section by section was so rewarding — a real trust-the-process moment and a true test of imagination envisioning the end goal through the masses of coat!

Seeing Phoebe strut round the salon in all her fresh groom glory caused a serious case of cuteness aggression 🔥

✨TRAINING DAY✨

Such a wonderful day spent with Louisa Mucky Mutz mobile grooming and the handsome Monty. Louisa and I were table neighbours at SuperGroom 2025, a year on and I’ve had the pleasure of welcoming the duo to my salon for some further education in Workshop/Teddy Style🎊🤭

Our main focus was how to tailor the Teddy Style cut to suit the competitive crossbreed workshop world. We worked through how to enhance Monty’s conformation by leaving more or less hair in specific areas, helping to create balanced proportions overall. Along with making small but effective adjustments to his face shape to help accentuate that true teddy bear style🧸

Louisa already has a wealth of knowledge, but she’s set some personal goals she’d like to achieve this year with Monty. I love spending time with people who have clear aims for the year ahead — having something to work towards is where we really thrive👏🏻😮‍💨

I’m so excited to see what the year brings for this brilliant partnership🙌🏻
