Winston enjoyed his outing with uncle Ben and friends. Some dogs absolutely love rolling around in a bit of long grass, not a well kept lawn but long weeds or straw. One of those things you never expected, but I could leave some of them here for half hour and they just love rolling around in it.

A bit like socialising with colleagues on a lunch break, the half way stop is a good time for the dogs to play, and bond with each other.

The boy Beckett, he certainly has grown on me!

Beckett was one of those challenging dogs - didn’t bond with me early on, no response to his name, stubborn, would stay out all day if given the choice, 0 recall.

But the feeling I get now from this guys friendship, trust and appreciation when he sees me. Randomly coming to me during outings to rest his head on my leg and happy to come with me on call - pure joy 🤎

Daisy loved her first outing with the group this week, starting off in the enclosed field making friends with some of our pack.

Within half an hour she was rolling on her back in the long grass looking happy as a pig in 💩 it’s a joy to watch a natural pack animal rub shoulders with others 🐕🐕‍🦺🐩🦮

Half way rest stop (for me) in the woodlands camp site.

The video may not be the most exciting to watch, but for me this is what the dogs love most about uncle Ben’s outings… Freedom to do as they please.

Taken to a place that they can express themselves with play, exploration, exercise. Free to dig, scent and chase.

This is real enrichment for dogs and I love to see them enjoying themselves 🤎

Apart from the cooler 9am outings, all our walkies this week are in the forests 🌳🐾🌲

Chauffeured in air conditioned vehicle to their shady destinations, these canines continue to have fun with friends 🐕🐕‍🦺🦮🐩

Fenn the red lab, I’m not sure he ever sleeps. Full of beans and always ready to go. Especially loves getting treats at the local.
