We made it to the end of summer ☀️ like Robin Hood and his merry men hiding out in the forest 🌳 with early morning sessions and evening walks in the sunset 🌅

We look forward to the Autumn 🍂 🐾

Peanut the Cocker, you couldn’t ask for an easier dog to walk. Strolls by my side most of the time, or stays with his buddies in the group. A lovely sociable dog that enjoys his outings but loves getting back home to his family just as much.

There is a ‘graduation’ process when joining McGregors Canines. Depending on the dog - first they may need to start on lead, then enclosed fields with trail lead, then out out with trail lead.

Only when they respond to their name, actively want to be with the pack & uncle Ben, and will stay - especially when opening vehicle door. Will they be allowed free reign with the crew and have freedom as a fully certified pack member 🐾

They soon learn what earns their freedom and fun 🤩

Poppy & Peanut firmly come as a pair, it’s hard to separate these loyal sisters. They have their pack friends bit those two are besties for life 👯‍♀️

The dogs have a better social life than I do!

On most outings, we do a halfway stop. A small rest for me (usually on a log or something) and this gives the gang a chance to pause and take in their environment.

What a lot of dogs miss on their ‘walk’ is to just stop and be a dog - to sniff, investigate and play with other canines.

I see some of the most joy from dogs on these halfway stops, just letting them be free to do as they like for 5 minutes. A break from being controlled constantly.

In this instance we were in an enclosed field, so I just sit down, stop throwing balls and let them rest and do as they please 🐾
