Today we’re celebrating 1 whole year of Mia at Waggy’s! 🐾🎉

Mia is an absolute superstar - holding down the longest shifts (7am–7pm twice a week!) and still finding time to walk dogs on the side. She lives and breathes dogs, and it really shows in the love and care she gives to every single pup (with a soft spot for the sausages 🌭🐶).

We’re so lucky to have Mia as part of the team - here’s to many more years of waggy tails together! 💜

It’s completely normal to want to see where your dog will be spending their time while you’re at work or away on holiday. That’s why we offer free visits for anyone interested in our daycare or boarding kennels. Got more than one dog and want them to stay together? We’ve got you covered! 🐾

We offer spacious kennels for dogs from the same household, so they can stay side by side throughout their time with us. Our goal is to keep their stay as natural, comfortable, and stress-free as possible.

If your pups have different energies or prefer their own space, no problem – we can happily give them separate socialisation areas too.

It’s just £10 per extra dog per night – keeping things affordable and inclusive for families with multiple furry friends.

Although dogs get plenty of socialisation and physical exercise with us, some days we like to incorporate mental stimulation too! Whether it’s a puzzle game, scent work, or a treat-finding challenge, enrichment activities help reduce anxiety, and support overall wellbeing.

It’s all part of keeping them happy, healthy, and balanced - inside and out!

It’s safe to say it’s been a hot summer - and with more warm days still to come, it’s important to help dogs stay cool. We’ve put a range of measures in place to make sure they’re always comfortable, safe, and happy during the hotter months.

Your dog’s wellbeing is our top priority, no matter the weather!

We love showing off our dogs socialising but quiet time is so important too. That’s why every dog staying with us gets their own private sleeping quarters. It gives them the chance to decompress, relax, and get some proper rest without any distractions.

Each kennel features a tiled floor to help keep it cool in summer, with underfloor heating for warmth in winter. Dogs are never mixed unless they’re from the same household, ensuring safety and peace of mind.

Each sleeping area also opens onto a semi-outdoor space with access to fresh air, natural light, and a toilet area away from their bedding - so they can rest and reset on their own terms.

They might look simple, but that’s exactly the point. We’re a kennel that believes in balanced care. Dogs get plenty of play, enrichment, and social time during the day but rest is essential. Our sleeping quarters are intentionally low-stimulation environments to help dogs properly decompress and avoid becoming overwhelmed!

🏅DAYCARE MEMBER OF THE MONTH! This month’s star is CHARLIE, who has come on leaps and bounds! Since joining daycare, Charlie’s confidence has really grown. He’s much calmer around other dogs now and doesn’t feel the need to bark at them anymore.
It can feel like a big, scary world when you’re small, but Charlie’s discovered it’s really not as frightening as he first thought. To top it off, his mum has told us his separation anxiety has improved massively too.
We’re so proud of you, Charlie. Well done! 🐾
