🎆 Bonfire Night at Waggy’s – Keeping Your Dogs Calm and Safe 🐾
With Bonfire Night fast approaching, we know that while many of us enjoy the celebrations and fireworks, this time of year can be stressful and frightening for our four-legged friends.
At Waggy’s, your dog’s comfort, safety and wellbeing are always our top priorities. That’s why we take extra precautions throughout Bonfire Week to help keep your pups as calm, comfortable and settled as possible.
Here’s how we help:
1. It starts with you! 🐶
Please let us know if your dog is anxious or frightened by fireworks. Understanding their individual needs allows us to provide the best possible care and support. If your dog requires any prescribed calming medication or other familiar calming aids, please let our team know and bring these along with clear instructions for use.
2. Calming music and background noise 🎶
Each individual kennel is equipped with a sound system. Throughout Bonfire Week, we play calming music overnight to help mask the noise of fireworks and create a more peaceful environment for your dogs.
3. Extra playtime and enrichment 🐾
We aim to give your pups a little extra time for socialisation, play and enrichment throughout the week. Keeping them active and mentally stimulated can help them release excess energy and settle more comfortably in their kennels.
4. On-site supervision ❤️
Your dogs’ safety and wellbeing are paramount. There is always someone on site at all times. Our team will not let your dog be distressed or anxious.
Rest assured, at Waggy’s, your dogs are in caring and attentive hands. We understand that every dog is different, and we do everything we reasonably can to make their stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible during fireworks season.
