As the colder months roll in, it's a good time to check your pet's ready for winter.
Just like us, pets can struggle with stiff joints, sniffles or other seasonal troubles.
Regular check-ups or wellness screens are a simple way to stay on top of your pet's health.
Until Jan 2026, we re offering a 'free health check' and if your dog is over 5yrs or cat over 7 yrs and has been seen by a practice vet in the past 18months, wellness screens are available at a discounted price of £60 (standard price £85).
These checks can catch hidden issues, give you peace of mind and help your pet feel their best this winter.

**IMPORTANT UPDATE**
As many of you will know Summercourt has been a part of Summerhill vet group for many years, but the decision has been made to disband the Summerhill group of 8 practices and split them into smaller groups.
Summercourt and Summerwood in Blackwood will now run as a 2 group practice and Summercourt will be renamed 'SUMMERWOOD - CAERPHILLY'
You will notice over the next few weeks that Summerwood - Caerphilly will have a new sign, new stationary and new uniform, but please be assured nothing else will change!
You will still see the same lovely staff at the same practice and we are still owned by the same company. The only thing that will change for our clients is seeing a different name.
Our OUT OF HOURS provider will remain unchanged and we will still be using VETS NOW.
We continue to look forward to seeing our lovely clients and their pets.

*UPDATE*
Just to let clients know that it is Summerhill in NEWPORT that are closing for a refurbishment and NOT Summerwood or Summercourt.
If you originally registered at Newport you may have received a letter about the temporary closure at Summerhill but that closure applies only to Newport.

We are open normal hours and all appointments are as normal.
