Sebastian’s younger siblings have been neutered yesterday. Both are doing well, one turned out to be a boy (excellent news for post surgery care as I’m currently feeling like a zombie, fighting a bad cold).
Well done Goddards Wembley for securing the windows properly! You can tell a cat owner to not to pull their cat out of the carrier, but people are going to „know better” and do whatever they want. Yesterday was also one of the days when someone brought their cat loose in the car. I’ve seen this loads of times. THE most important item to have at home is a safe and metal or plastic cat carrier (because you can’t transport a broken bone in a material one, or because cats p*e and poo in them). How is this not obvious is beyond me, but I was just glad to see their windows protected for WHEN a barking dog walks in, because… it’s a veterinary practice. First time in Wembley (it’s really too far for us but this was the only place where we could have booked them in)-very nice.
The kittens are growing, they are looking for their forever homes, they are feral and they hate people, but we do our best. Essentially, they don’t need a rescue to deal with them while feeling depressed about it, they need a human being to love them and to work with them for a few months. They are responding very well and they should be „normal” by the spring, IF they get the right kind of care.
