UPDATE ON CALDECOTE FARM PLANNING PERMISSION
Thank you so much to those who have confirmed their support for our planning application at Caldecote Farm for a new equestrian centre – we have been really humbled and overwhelmed by the community’s response to our plans.
Unfortunately, despite the support, the application will be recommended for refusal by Officers, but it will be considered at Planning Committee next Thursday (11th April) where Councillors will make the final decision (please note this application is entirely separate from the application being decided by the County Council and relates to the equestrian centre only). It is therefore extremely important the Councillors understand and are aware of the extremely high levels of support and positive local feeling and so we would be very grateful if those in support could take 5 minutes of their time to send an email to the Chair of the Committee (Cllr Silver – [email protected] ), who is also the local Member for Bushey Park, confirming where you live and why you feel the application should be approved.
We have put a lot of time, effort and money into this application, which we passionately believe will deliver huge benefits to the community and actually enhance the Green Belt, securing an appropriate use for the site when other land in the area is being earmarked for large scale housing development.
Please do get in touch with us if you have any questions and thank you so much in advance for your support – this really could make a difference and at the very least will ensure that Councillors consider the application in the full knowledge of the strength of local feeling.
Thank you
Mandy & Edward
