Why Aren't Your Pawprints Free? | 💜💭
This is a question we're often asked. Why do we charge for our prints when some Vets will provide them for free?
Allow us to explain - our prints, whether they're paws, claws, noses, snouts, feet, ears, tails or anything inbetween - are ART.
We have our specially trained Creative Artists - Jodie & Annalise - whose role in Legacy Pets is solely to take care of your loved ones. This includes making sure they are clean & groomed if needed, placing them in comfortable bedding, snipping fur or feather clippings, taking prints, creating castings, making resin keepsakes and now even handcrafting impression jewellery.
Our Artists are exposed to some horrific circumstances, where providing a print is the very least we can do to ease a families grief. We know just how important these pawprints are and the significance they hold to helping families cope with their loss, so it's hugely important that we get it right.
These Prints are presented in beautiful frames with your pet's name underneath and we also provide all of the original prints we've taken alongside your printed, finalised version.
With many tasks to do each day for every pet that comes into our care, and taking such pride and detail in those tasks requires a lot of attention. This is why being a Creative Artist on our team is a full time job - a job that keeps our girls with roofs over their heads and their bills paid every month.
As far as we know, there's no other Pet Crematorium in the country who have a team that are dedicated to creating keepsakes for families. Legacy Pets takes keepsakes seriously. That's why our prints aren't free. 🎨💜
