📍 In-Person & Online Services Hi, I’m Angela Day, founder of Born to Run Canine Rehabilitation & Core Conditioning, based in Suffolk, UK. I help dogs move better, recover safely, and stay stronger for longer through rehabilitation, movement and pain assessments, injury detection, laser therapy, canine massage therapy, and core conditioning. My work combines hands-on rehabilitation with practical owner education to help bridge the gap between reactive and proactive canine healthcare. I work with both companion and sporting dogs, supporting everything from mobility issues and post-operative recovery to injury prevention, conditioning, posture, movement, and long-term wellbeing. Alongside my clinical work, I am founder of The Canine Advocates, an online educational dog health community helping owners better understand canine health, movement, wellbeing, and proactive care. My mission is to reduce pain levels and improve mobility in 1 million dogs by helping owners spot problems earlier, understand their dog’s body better, and make more confident, informed decisions about lifelong health and wellbeing.

A few months ago I promised I'd reduce the price of the 7 week core program to make it accessible. But that every month that price would go up by £100 until I reached the actual price.

This was to give a chance for people to jump in at a fraction of the cost.

It started at £295, it increased to £395 the following month.
Those classes filled and you missed the chance to jump in.

Now the price is £495. This is the lowest price this will be.

A study showed that weakness in at least one back leg could cause back pain in dogs.

The weakness and subsequent pain comes from overuse of the longissimus.

NOW Imagine:
Your dogs core isn't recruiting correctly, and if you have an active dog, the longissimus will come under even more pressure when they are running, twisting, turning.
Eventually this muscle goes into spasm.
This is palpable and very painful.

You'll see reluctance to navigate an agility course, reluctance to turn on the flyball box, flagging times, flagging energy levels and increased injury events during the season.

This dog 👆 the one with the problems....
doesn't need more training. They need a fully functioning core.

After months of rehabilitation, rest, recovery, treatment, psychological counter conditioning, ball work, and rebuilding confidence, our TT returned to the lanes today after his injury in April, the second big injury of his short career, and has officially earned himself the title of Yeager’s fastest ever dog ❤️🖤🩶🤍

So this little guy has us deeply worried again.
After a second collapse in 3 months and nearly losing him first time around it’s been a horrible few months.
It absolutely breaks my heart that he’s only 2 years old and yet he’s experienced excruciating pain with HGE already (cause unknown) 😥

The vets have now pushed the suspected heart issue to the side and are investigating 2 options, neither of which I can bear to think about

A brain tumour
Epilepsy

I am praying for neither and I hope they’ve got this all horribly wrong. I genuinely can’t do this alone. Please send us good vibes and thoughts as Blaze is referred this week for even more diagnostics. 🙏
