BASE PANTO

BASE PANTO BASE PANTO are the longest-running Panto company in Burton. (We were formerly known as Burton Amateur Stage Entertainers)

We are an amateur group who's pantomimes are anything but amateur. We hire professional costumes and scenery and put 7 performances on over 5 nights including two matinees. We perform at the Burton Brewhouse Arts Centre - each year in February half term (Staffordshire). We support a local charity each year with our fundraising through the show. In 2012/2013 we supported the Me and Dee Charity, in

2013/2014 we supported Alzheimers Society and in 2014/2015 we supported the Brain Tumour Charity. 2015/16 was the turn of AgeUK Burton. 2016/17 saw Tree Tops Hospice receive a donation. Our casting and rehearsals start in early September - and continue weekly until Christmas. After Christmas we rehearse twice a week up to show week - when the magic of pantomime returns to Burton again.

COME FROM AWAY is finally here! Starting tonight, the drums will sound and we'll be transported to Newfoundland.

After months of rehearsals, hundreds of "chair-o-graphy" counts, and a lot of heart, the day has finally arrived. Tonight, we officially say "Welcome to the Rock" at the Brewhouse Arts Centre.
