🔷💉Happy Friday! Our long awaited vaccine has arrived! 🔷💉

🔷Bluetongue🔷

As many of you will know, Bluetongue virus is causing lots of problems in the south of the country. With the increase in suspect cases further north, and one case now confirmed just over the border in Scotland, we are advising that vaccination is the best way to reduce losses. 💉

Unfortunately, due to nationwide demand, the vaccine is in short supply. We have, and are currently in the process of trying to source some from abroad, but are unsure how much more will be available. If you are thinking of vaccinating your cattle or sheep, please give us a call to discuss the options and we will add you to our waiting list🐄🪰🐑

We are pleased to be supporting Bark in the Park dog show in support of the wonderful local charity St Mary’s Hospice🌼

Taking place at Ford Park in Ulverston, from 11am this Sunday, entries cost £5 per class and are available at: https://www.ford-park.org.uk/event-details-registration/bark-in-the-park-3 or on the day 🎟️

Jess' Christmas Veggies!🥕🎄🐈

Our wonderful Student Veterinary Nurse Jess has been very busy the last few weeks hand rearing these 2 little kittens from a day old.🐈🍼

With their very fitting names for this time of year, Carrot and Parsnip, to match her lovely dog Sprout, we’re sure you can guess who’s who! 🥕

Jess has worked very hard being up to feed them at all times of day and night and we are all very proud of her for raising them to lovely little healthy kittens🌃🐱.
