All the horses here at Lone Oak stables had their 6 monthly dentistry check up from my amazing sponsors Equine Dental Services South West LTD 😁😁

All our horses are seen every 6 months, so we can be sure their teeth are properly balanced and have minimal work doing, to keep our crew in tip-top shape ready for the upcoming summer season.

Keeping our horses happy in their mouths, happy in their contacts, and happy in their work 👌👌

I'm pretty sure this "more passion, more energy" song is Mannys mantra 🤣🤣

Some post national's training and fun before Mannys holiday. He sure does dish me up a lot of passion for his changes, still lots to work on, and I need to learn to harness his energy better to progress them further 💪

But I'm excited about these changes progressing over time, especially as he hasn't been doing them long 🫶

Tessa, who needs no introduction, has a wealth of knowledge, having ridden and trained combinations to international grand prix, as well as 4* eventers.
A great opportunity to perfect your training or test riding skills, under instruction from a former list 2 judge.

Tessa has helped me immensely over the past few years, helping to produce the horses you see today.

I've been a bit quiet on the posting front recently.

This winter has been long and hard on multiple fronts, but the show must go on, and we have been working hard behind the scenes with our regional preparation for next week!! 😱

I'm so very lucky to have the most amazing and supportive sponsors who are always on hand for help and advice.

As important it is to prepare our horses for competition it's equally important to prepare ourselves.
A few years ago, Ahead For Sport told me to do this simple technique to fully know, understand, and how I want my test to ride and feel. Helping me to adapt my test riding to each individual horse I ride.

Our Story

Lone Oak Stables was founded almost 10 years ago by the owner and proprietor, Beth Miller BHS II. Situated in 18 acres of beautiful Cotswold countryside, consisting of 12 spacious, light stables, solarium, wash box, clipping box and individual all year turn out. We have a professionally built 20×60 Olympic sized all weather arena, that is fully fitted with training mirrors and judges box in a relaxed setting. Lone Oak Stables prides itself on being able to provide and tailor its 5* care for each individual horse.

BETH MILLER BHS II

Beth left school at the 16 and went on to be accepted to train at the Talland School of Equitation. In these years, she achieved her BHS Intermediate Instructors certificate and was in charge of the daily running of the school, including the care of 100+ horses, clients and students. Working her way up from a working pupil to a senior instructor and yard manager, she developed the skills and expertise to train and care for top international competition horses. During this time she trained under top trainers such as Pammy & Charlie Hutton, Gerry Sinnott, Molly Siverwright and Justine Sole. Returning home in 2010, Beth set up Lone Oak Stables training and schooling, which has been developed over the years.
