Bramble is a sweet girl who came to us after sadly losing her bonded partner. She is very curious of people and loves having humans around although once you are with her she is quite independent and will hop around playing with her toys, she obviously likes an audience!

Charm, Jewel, and The Wizard are doing wonderfully with their adopter!

“They have been very good, learned to use the litter tray on the first day, and are good as gold with each other... They are so lovely.”

We are so happy they’ve found their forever home together 💜

Lovely is still searching for her forever home 💔

She’s such a gentle soul who truly loves being around people. If she’s not napping and hears someone nearby, she’ll often peek out to see what’s going on. You can see her adorable personality in the video on her profile, she’ll melt your heart!🥰

Failed Foster - The Best Kind of Failure

Sometimes our foster families discover that the cat they’re caring for is actually their perfect match. Here are a few recent happy endings:

Dottie, Elderly and with ongoing health needs, Dottie’s fosterers gave her months of love and care before deciding she belonged with them forever.

Mr Tigglesworth (now Tiggy), After fostering many cats successfully, his carers just couldn’t let this special boy go. “I never set out to adopt,” they shared, “but Tiggy stole my heart.”

Elliot, After surgery and a long recovery, Elliot thrived in foster care. His carer couldn’t imagine uprooting him again and chose to make him family.

Henry, Arriving from a multi-cat household with health and confidence issues, Henry blossomed in foster care eventually bonding deeply with the family’s daughter.

Lady Mae-Rose is a young girl who’s full of energy. Being no more than a puppy she is looking for a home with a decent sized private garden where she can run off her bursts of energy as well as somewhere for resting time too.

Look at that smile!😆

We’d like to say a big thank you to for their kind support in sending us a wonderful goodie box.

Thoughtful donations like this mean so much to us. They not only bring joy to the animals who get to enjoy new treats and toys, but also give a real boost to our team, who work tirelessly every day to care for Bristol’s most vulnerable animals.

We’re so grateful for this generosity, which helps us continue providing the very best care to the dogs, cats, and other pets who need us.

Coco has been with us for 224 days, making her our longest stay 💔. She hasn’t had much interest, so her amazing foster carer is sharing a bit about the wonderful dog she really is.

Coco will make such a loyal companion - take a look at her profile and see if she could be the one for you. 💛

Our Story

We’ve been caring for the city’s pets and wildlife since 1887, helping, healing and homing over 14,000 vulnerable animals each year. We are the oldest and largest local animal charity, and although we are proud to be affiliated with the RSPCA, we receive no automatic funding from it. We rely entirely on local support within the community to fund our vital work.
