❤️❤️ Happy Furever After ❤️❤️
Thank you so much for allowing us to give Lenny a forever home 💕
We've introduced him to a range of people now that he's more settled, including children and elderly people, and has been so gentle and sweet, especially when the person is unsteady on their feet. He definitely has a knack for understanding who he can play tug with, and who will just give him ear scratches. Everyone who meets him comments on how pretty and well mannered he is, and we definitely agree :) He also attends Pooch Play Time in Thornbury once a week, and has made some consistent doggy friends who he loves to play with, including a little staffy puppy named Bluebell. Their favourite game is bitey face, but it's all very friendly and Lenny stops and disengages when asked. I think in turn, he's also taught Bluebell some manners, which has been lovely to see.
He’s also great in the car, and has been on a few trips to the beach with us. He wasn’t sure about the sea and sand (he’s not a fan of water in general), but he loved sniffing around in the dunes and on the coast path.
All in all, he's such a lovely boy, and has come a long way since we first met him. He's definitely a lap dog now, and doesn't realise that his bony elbows are actually quite unpleasant to be jabbed with as he wriggles about on the sofa!
Thank you again for everything, and for Lenny. He really is the best little guy, and we're so grateful that we get to be his forever home.
