I know many of us have seen countless posts about dogs and hot weather over the years, but I will keep sharing. Why? Because despite all the warnings, I still see dogs being walked during the hottest parts of the day.

Heatstroke is not something that only happens to "other people's dogs", it can develop quickly and become life-threatening.

If you're unsure whether it's safe, skip the walk! Enrichment games, training sessions, sniffing activities and indoor play can provide plenty of mental stimulation until temperatures drop.

For trusted information on heatstroke prevention, symptoms and emergency first aid, I highly recommend:

Ace has so much love to give, especially to his mum and anyone lucky enough to be welcomed into his pack. He may have a bold, boisterous bark, don't be fooled... he's a total softy at heart. His day isn't complete without his morning hugs and kisses🩵

The cutest little character with the most human-like eyes you’ve ever seen! He loves his walks, chasing his ball, and snuggling up for cuddles on the sofa.

He took a little time to warm up to me, but now we’re absolute besties who love every moment we spend together. Couldn’t be happier to have this sweet boy as part of the DoggiDaze family 🤍🐾
