New courses starting on the 6th July and 4th August 🐶

Pulling on the lead explained simply

You have taught your dog that pulling on the lead is the way to access the things that they want, so now it's their autopilot response when you take them out 🤷‍♀️

It could also be lack of fulfillment, where your dog is so desperate to be out exploring the environment because their needs aren't being met. There are other factors - mostly ones involving their poor mental state, that also contributes to lead pulling which makes it harder to teach them to walk on a loose lead and these things need to be addressed first before expecting them to walk at our pace. Training/obedience should not be the primary focus in these cases.
