Blue-green algae can be toxic to dogs. ☢️

It may appear as scum or green paint on the surface of ponds or lakes, but even a small amount can cause dogs to become seriously ill. Keep them out of water that looks suspicious, and always check for warning signs when out on walks.

🌟Sammy's Story...🌟

Sammy visited Clare our vet for his routine health check and vaccinations. While his owner reported no concerns, the vet noticed Sammy's teeth needed attention due to calculus build-up and bad breath. She recommended a thorough cleaning and dental x-rays to assess the situation beneath the gum line. 🦷✨

On the day of his procedure, Sammy showed tremendous courage as he underwent a general anaesthetic, and woke up sporting a gleaming new smile. In Sammy's case, the dental work required the removal of 16 teeth – a significant but important step towards his well-being.😲

It's a reminder that many pets can seem perfectly normal while eating and playing, yet may be quietly suffering with dental discomfort. Only a detailed examination under general anaesthetic allows vets to truly assess and treat these hidden problems.

Sammy’s courage and his owner’s trust in us meant he’s now feeling much better—and flashing a dazzling smile 😁

This handsome boy isn't just special - he's a giant ball of love! Seriously, we think he might be the biggest Lab puppy we've ever seen. Can you blame us for wanting to smooch that furry face? 🥰

Guess who dropped by for his monthly weigh-in? That's right, our growing boy Rex! It's crucial for getting his parasite treatment just right. And boy, is he growing fast! 📈
