BANKSY - Lurcher - neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and currently weighing in at 23.6kg. He is 16-18 months old.
If you love a sighthound and are looking for a new BFF then you will not go far wrong with giving this gorgeous cuddle buddy a home. He is extremely people friendly and greets all of the other dogs with a constant wagging tail but gets really excited when he comes across another sighthound.
When travelling in a van he will sing to you but is less vocal if he can see you and where he is going.
He is excited to go out for his walks and does walk well without too much pulling. In the enclosed area he loves to do his zoomies and will throw a toy around.
We have no idea if he is cat friendly and are unable to test.
Any children in the home need to be 5+.
We do require a secure a garden with adequate height fencing.
We would ideally like to see Banksy go to a home with another sighthound for play and companionship if possible.
He does need someone who is not out of the home for more than a few hours.

Unfortunately Sassy (renamed Mabel) did not make the grade and was returned to kennels mid-May.

SASSY - 1 1/2 years old, registered as a Labrador x Spaniel mix, spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with flea and worming treatments.
When Sassy first arrived at kennels she was muzzled, scared and an absolute fruit loop having been rescued from a pretty bad situation. The muzzle has not been back on her since she has been with us. It took weeks to get her to the point where she could go up for homing - she needs people/a family that can give her the love and attention that she craves, kennels is not the best place for her to be. Sassy needs an experienced owner who is prepared to put the time and effort in with her and she will reward you with the love that she shows to us.
Sassy bounces around like a kangaroo. She loves a game of fetch and will bring the ball or toy back to you to throw again. She does know some commands and when she chooses to will obey.
She may need a bit of a house training refresher but will pick this up really quickly as she is a clever girl.
Travels well and when calms down will walk nicely.
She has not had much outdoor socialisation so does need to be the ONLY pet in the home.
** Outside of the home Sassy will chase and lunge at vehicles. **She will also go in to protect mode if approached by strangers.
** If Sassy was rehomed to a property with a large enough outside space for her then she may not need to be taken outside of the property where she encounters lots of problems and it is outside of the property that would need working on.
Any children need to be 6+
We would ideally like to see Sassy go to a home where she is not going to be left all day.
A secure garden with adequate height fencing is a must.

This is BLEU. Photos 1 to 5 show her on arrival at 5th May to yesterday 1st June. We are so so pleased with her progress.
Bleu has now been spayed. She is 3 1/2 years old, microchipped and vaccinations have been started. We believe she is Mastiff/Bulldog cross - registered as a crossbreed.
Bleu came in as an unclaimed stray that appears to have been passed from pillar to post with no one claiming ownership - their loss.
We have found Bleu to be one of the kindest gentlest dogs we have come across for a long while. She is on the shy side to start with and finds new things/places/people wary but within minutes she is your best friend. Very affectionate, loves to play and completely house trained. Bleu walks nicely on the lead and has no problems with travelling in vehicles. She is happy to go out walking on the lead with other dogs and will generally walk past the other dogs in kennels without issue however she is not keen on a couple of the more vocal larger dogs (most dogs here don't like them either).
We feel Bleu is going to be the most loyal family dog and may do better as they only pet in the home so as to get the attention she clearly deserves.
Any children in the home need to 6+.
Cats and other small furries are untested and unknown.
A secure garden with minimum of 6ft fencing is required.
We would love to see Bleu go to a home where she is not going to be left for more than a few hours per day and will NOT be crated.

** HOME PENDING **

VIENNA - Dachshund (long coated) - approx 4-5 years old, spayed and microchipped.

Vienna has not received any vaccinations as she is currently on a course of antibiotics due to having 24 teeth removed. Her remaining 11 teeth have been cleaned and her new owner will need to keep an eye on them for any deterioration.

She is an absolute delight, proper wriggle bum with a constant wagging tail, such a happy dog that loves to be on the go rather than sitting still. She is very loving and affectionate and nothing really seems to bother her.
Vienna is not phased by any of the dogs at the kennels and she will probably be in her element with another small dog to play chase with (neutered male preferred).
We do not know if she is cat friendly as we are unable to cat test but highly doubt a cat will be a problem for her.
Any children in the home will need to be 5+.
She travels well and without fuss.
Absolutely loves her walks and playing in the garden.
We would really like to see Vienna go to a home where she will not be left for more than a few hours per day as she just loves human company.
As always a secure garden with adequate height fences for the breed is required.

** HOME PENDING **

MATTEO and GAVIN are a bonded pair of dogs and we will be seeking to find them a home together after Gavin has been neutered tomorrow. Both are microchipped and up to date with all of their vaccinations along with flea and worming treatments. They are 8 and 9 years old and are Chug and Jug.
Both boys are fully house trained, fine around other dogs, great with people and have shown no aggression although Gavin is slightly more reserved than his "brother".
They have lived with cats, Matteo is fine with them and Gavin is slightly wary of them.
They travel well in cars and do love their walks.
They really are a nice pair of dogs who have just been let down by circumstances.
We do truly hope we can keep them together.
Any children in the home need to be 5+
As always a secure garden with adequate height fences for their breed is required.
It would be nice if we could also find a home where they are not going to be left alone all day.

** HOME PENDING **

ROD - Chihuahua, 3 years old, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped

Rod had a retained testicle so had to have more of a spay type operation and whilst under had 2 teeth removed and his rear dew claws taken off as they had grown in to his feet pads.

He is a really lovely little boy. Very people friendly and dog friendly having previously lived with a larger female dog.
He will be fine with calmer children aged 5+.
Cats and other small furries are unknown and untested.
Rod is house trained, walks nicely on the lead but needs to be able to see you when travelling.
Someone really is going to get a little gem.
We would ideally like to see Rod go to a home where he is not going to be left all day but he will be fine for 3-4 hours.
A secure garden with adequate height fencing is a must.
