THE COUNTDOWN TO THE 2027 FOALING SEASON BEGINS! ✨🐴

Although the 2026 season is only just coming to an end, we’re already looking ahead with excitement as our 2027 foal crop starts to take shape! 🤩

With our own mares now safely scanned in foal, we’re thrilled to reveal the exciting combinations we’ve planned for next year.

📸 Photo 2: A tiny but unforgettable moment — the heartbeat scan of an embryo from our beloved three-year-old Martha (Grand Marnier) by Dunhill Desert Storm. Seeing that little heartbeat flickering on the screen was incredibly special, and we’re so grateful to our fantastic surrogate mare, April, who is doing an amazing job looking after this precious little life.

It’s amazing to think that these tiny scans will, with a little luck, become next year’s foals.

Now the waiting game begins! 🤞🏼 Here’s to a smooth winter, healthy pregnancies, and welcoming these exciting youngsters into the world in 2027.

As the 2026 stud season begins to draw to a close, it’s almost time for Venterprise to head home, with George due to leave us at the end of August.

If you’ve been thinking about breeding to this exceptional stallion, there’s still time to secure your very own Venterprise foal. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch to discuss availability before he departs.

Venterprise ⭐️
He is a quality British-bred stallion by the legendary Voltaire. Approximately 50% Thoroughbred, he combines exceptional athleticism, speed, and technique with an effortless way of going, covering the ground easily and meeting fences naturally in his stride. He possesses three expressive, elastic paces and an excellent temperament, making him an ideal sire for eventing, show jumping, dressage, sport horses, and quality all-rounders.

He is one of the few British-bred sons of Voltaire currently standing in the UK. Carrying the influential performance bloodlines of Furioso II and Gotthard, Voltaire has become one of the most significant stallions in modern sport horse breeding. Alongside producing numerous approved sons, he has sired offspring that have competed successfully at the highest levels of the sport, including 1.60m show jumping and Grand Prix dressage. His dam sire, Springfield Symphony, is also the grandsire of Safira, who competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

His oldest progeny, Vendeavour, now five years old, qualified for the 2025 British Eventing Five-Year-Old Championship at his very first BE100 competition, producing a double clear at Swancliffe Park. Widely regarded as an exciting prospect for the future, he is already showing considerable promise.

Congratulations to owner Ava Vernon on the arrival of this beautiful filly out of her mare, Seraphina!

This sweet little lady officially brings our foaling season to a close, and takes our final tally to 26 fillies and 25 c**ts—what a wonderful way to finish!

A huge thank you to all of our owners—both returning and new—for trusting us with such an important part of your breeding journey. It’s a privilege to help welcome these incredible bundles of joy into the world, and we truly appreciate your continued support.

Our final foal of the 2026 season arrived last night!

Before we formally introduce the newest arrival, it’s your last chance to make your prediction… who do you think has come out on top—fillies or c**ts?

Our penultimate foal of the 2026 season has arrived!

Congratulations to Pennie Wallace, whose lovely mare Polly has welcomed a beautiful bay filly by LePrince Des Bois. At less than a week old, she’s already showing plenty of confidence and character—proving to be every bit as bold as her older brother, ‘Wilf’!

We can’t wait to watch this exciting young filly grow and see what the future has in store for her.

The arrival of ‘Pippa’ marks the 50th foal born here this season and our 25th filly, bringing the tally to an even split between c**ts and fillies. With just one mare left under camera, all eyes are on our final arrival—which will come out on top: the fillies or the c**ts?

With one mare left to foal for 2026 we would like to introduce the other ‘youngsters’ we have been producing this season!

Out of Amy’s beloved Nutella, Nutty to her friends, and by Ralph who can only be described as the kindest ‘Jack The Lad’ you will meet we have 3 very special Cocker Spaniel puppies looking for their forever homes.

1 bitch ( black) and 2 dogs (chocolate) …. All very well socialized, loved and farm reared. They can play and they can cuddle. Great family dogs. Ready from 10/7/26.

The boys are certainly playing catch-up!

We are delighted to welcome foals 43 through 49 to the world, and what a wonderful group they are proving to be.

First to arrive was a handsome bay c**t for the Thurlborn family, out of their much-loved mare Ella Z and by Argento. While he may be small in stature, he is absolutely packed with quality and character. A true example of pint-sized perfection, and we have every confidence that he will go on to achieve big things in the future.

Mona carried this precious youngster on behalf of HH Ambrose Lady, and we are delighted to see both mare and foal doing so well. This handsome c**t is a full sibling to Freya, who joined us earlier in the season, making his arrival even more special for everyone involved. Sired by Can Ya Makan, this young man has certainly made a wonderful first impression. With his elegant presence, bright outlook, and plenty of personality already beginning to shine through.

Another wonderful arrival to celebrate as Kizzy safely delivered a striking black c**t for the Goldsmith family. Kizzy took motherhood in her stride and has been doing a fantastic job caring for her c**t from the moment he arrived. This chap is sired by Koning Albert.

Not to be outdone, Felicity Pryce’s two maiden mares decided that one foaling in a night simply wasn’t enough—despite their due dates being almost three weeks apart! Paisley was first to welcome a beautiful buckskin filly by resident stallion Pencos Arctic King. With four striking white socks and plenty of presence, she certainly knows how to make an entrance. Then, after taking notes from her stablemate, Harmony produced a tall, elegant black c**t by Future Hepsilon. Both mares have taken to motherhood brilliantly and are doing a fantastic job caring for their new arrivals.

Next on the foaling roster was a confident and charismatic bay c**t for Springfield Equestrian, out of their mare Belinda. This young man has wasted no time introducing himself to the world and is already full of self-assurance, curiosity, and charm.

Finally, in the early hours of this morning, first-time mum Lulu safely delivered a lovely bay c**t by Dominator 2000 Z. From the moment he arrived, this little fellow has shown an adventurous spirit, a brave attitude, and a genuine love of human company.

It has been another busy and exciting few days in the foaling barn, and it’s wonderful to see such a healthy and varied group of youngsters on the ground. Congratulations to all of their owners and breeders—we can’t wait to watch these special foals grow and develop in the months and years ahead. 🐴✨
