Meet Winston the Cocker Spaniel!

Winston is here for rehabilitation after his recent surgery, and we couldn’t be happier to support him on his recovery journey. Hydrotherapy offers numerous benefits, including speeding up healing, building muscle, and improving joint mobility — all while providing a gentle, enjoyable experience for our pups.

His first session was a little nerve-wracking, and Winston frequently looked to his owner for reassurance. But as he got more comfortable in the pool and started to trust the hydrotherapists, he became more relaxed and even showed interest in following the tennis ball around the pool! 🐶🎾

The soothing warmth of the water helps reduce pain and inflammation, making each session a calming and beneficial part of his recovery. ❤️‍🩹

We’re so proud of Winston’s progress already and can’t wait to see him swimming happily and improving with each session. 🐾💦

Meet Millie the Golden Retriever!

From the moment she saw the pool, Millie was confident and tail-wagging with excitement. She needed no time to settle in; she was happily swimming laps and enjoying herself in no time at all! 🐾💦

From the look on Millie’s face she also seemed to enjoy a shampoo after session- this girl loves a pamper! 🚿💖

We’re looking forward to working with Millie to help manage her intermittent lameness and support her on her journey to better health and happiness. ❤️‍🩹👏🏻

Meet Danny the Golden Retriever!

Danny is attending hydrotherapy for our weight management sessions. Danny has never been swimming before, so this is a completely new experience for him. As a naturally timid dog, we knew it was important to make his first visit as positive and reassuring as possible.

Getting Danny into the pool took a bit of persuasion, but with patience and gentle encouragement, we managed to get him in. Initially, he was quite nervous, but after a few laps and getting used to the routine, Danny started to relax and gradually became more comfortable in the water. 🐾💦

We’ll continue to work with Danny over the upcoming sessions, slowly building his confidence and ensuring he enjoys his time in the pool. Hydrotherapy is a fantastic way for him to burn calories, lose weight, and most importantly, have fun along the way! 🐶👏🏻

We’re so proud of Danny’s brave start and look forward to seeing him progress on his weight management journey.

Meet Dottie the Jack Russel Terrier!

We’re delighted to introduce Dottie, a sweet elderly girl who’s here to receive some extra TLC through hydrotherapy.

Dottie, who is blind, requires a gentle and supportive environment to help her stay active and maintain her mobility, and hydrotherapy is perfect for that. 🐾💦

Hydrotherapy offers a safe, low-impact way for senior dogs like Dottie to stay mobile and enjoy gentle exercise, which is vital for their overall well-being. 🐶

Our hydrotherapists worked closely with Dottie, providing the support she needed to feel safe and comfortable in the pool. While it took her a little time to adjust to the new environment, she was brave and did incredibly well during her first session. We were all so proud of her! 👏🏻

We’re looking forward to supporting Dottie on her journey and seeing her thrive. 💖

Meet Wilf the Jack Russel Terrier!

Wilf has recently gained a little extra weight and needs some gentle, fun exercise to help burn off those calories — and what better way than in the pool? 🐾💦

We’re especially proud to share that Wilf had never been swimming before his first session with us, and he nailed it! He took to the water like a pro, quickly adapting to the routine. By the end of his session, Wilf was happily swimming laps — and of course, a few tasty pieces of ham as a reward made it all even more enjoyable! 🐶

Our approach is centred on gradual progress, gradually increasing the exercise in each session to support healthy weight loss. Because, as we always say, it’s a marathon, not a sprint. 🌊🏁

Wilf looked to be genuinely enjoying his time in the water, and we can’t wait to see him again for round two! 👏🏻

Meet Lottie the Cocker Spaniel!

Lottie is here to start her journey with hydrotherapy after undergoing cruciate surgery.

Hydrotherapy is a fantastic rehabilitation tool for dogs like Lottie, as it allows them to move freely without putting stress on their joints. The warm water provides soothing, pain-relieving benefits and helps reduce inflammation, making it an ideal environment for healing. 🐶❤️‍🩹

Hydrotherapy also plays a key role in regaining muscle strength, which is especially important after surgery and periods of crate rest. Our experienced therapists tailor each session to match Lottie’s progress, ensuring she gets the right amount of support and exercise.

Lottie is usually a confident pup, but like many dogs, she found some parts of her first session a little daunting, which is completely normal! With plenty of treats, encouragement, and patience, she quickly adapted to the pool environment. It didn’t take long for her to settle in, and by the end of her session, she was enjoying her time in the water! 🐾💦

We’re so proud of Lottie’s progress so far and look forward to seeing her again as she continues her recovery. 👏🏻

Meet Magnum the Labrador!

Magnum has recently started hydrotherapy to help manage his Osteoarthritis — a condition that can make everyday movements painful and challenging.

At first, Magnum was a bit unsure, especially of the ramp, but with gentle guidance and lots of patience from our caring hydrotherapists, he was in the pool and ready to go! 🐶🙌🏻

In the water, Magnum was able to stretch out his limbs fully, and the warm water provided relief from pain and inflammation. It’s a calm and relaxing experience that’s helping him feel more comfortable and mobile. 🐾💦

We’re so proud of Magnum’s progress and look forward to seeing him again soon! 👏🏻

Meet Bella the Labrador!

Bella is joining us for our senior swim sessions, specially designed to support older dogs experiencing hindlimb weakness and muscle mass loss — common signs of ageing.

Hydrotherapy provides gentle, non-weight-bearing exercises, helping to maintain strength, mobility, and overall quality of life. 🐾💦

Bella did wonderfully for her very first hydrotherapy session! With plenty of treats close by, she was happy to tackle each step and give it her all. 🐶👏🏻

We’re excited to continue working with Bella and support her in staying happy, healthy, and active for years to come. 💖

Meet Bruno the Labrador!

We’re thrilled to introduce Bruno to our canine hydrotherapy centre! Bruno is here for confidence-building sessions, as his owner wanted to help him feel more comfortable and enjoy trying something new. 🐶

At first, Bruno was quite unsure about entering the pool, but with gentle techniques and his owner by his side for reassurance, he was brave enough to get in and start working on his swimming. As expected, Bruno was a little nervous and frightened as he attempted his laps, but with assistance from the hydrotherapists, we watched him slowly grow more comfortable and gain confidence with each rep. 🐾💦

Bruno will need a few more sessions to fully build his confidence in the water, but it’s fantastic to see his progress so far! We’re so proud of him and look forward to helping him become a confident, happy swimmer. 🐶👏🏻

Meet Stanley the Labrador!

Stanley is Penny’s brother, and during his initial assessment, he seemed a little less confident than Penny. However, when it came to his first session, Stanley surprised us all — he was the most confident in the pool! 🐾💦

His secret? His love of tennis balls! Stanley’s enthusiasm for fetch helped him conquer any nerves, and he was swimming laps effortlessly, clearly enjoying every moment in the water. It’s wonderful to see such a confident and happy pup in the pool! 🐶🎾
