🤢🐶 Why do dogs roll in fox poo?

As disgusting as it is, your dog isn’t doing it to annoy you… probably! 😅

No one knows for certain, but experts believe it could be for a few reasons:
🦊 To mask their scent – This behaviour may come from their wild ancestors, who rolled in strong smells to disguise themselves from prey.
🐺 Instinct – Even though our dogs are pampered pets, some natural behaviours have never completely disappeared.
📣 To share information – Some scientists think dogs roll in interesting scents so they can bring that smell back to their pack.

💚 The bad news? They’ll probably do it again.😆🫠

If your dog has rolled in fox poo, avoid rubbing it deeper into the coat and use a dog-safe shampoo as soon as possible. 🧴🫧🛁
