If you've been meaning to get their bodywork and bit fit looked at, now is the perfect time. I have availability in June and July and I'm expanding my client loyalty package that brings both together as one joined-up assessment to new clients.

Tension in the head and body, and bit comfort are more connected than you might think. What comes up in the bodywork session can change what I'm looking for in the fitting, and vice versa. Getting both done together just makes sense 🐎

📦 Package price: £105. This is the same rate my regular clients pay when combining both services, so you're getting the loyalty pricing from your very first booking 😍

Bodywork is £55 and standalone bit fitting is £75, so you're saving £25 just by booking together 🙌 Book both on the same day and save another £5!

𝓙𝓸𝓲𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓓𝓸𝓽𝓼! `•.¸¸.•´´¯`

This is Ben 😍 Ben hacks out three times a week and has the occasional lunge or schooling session. His owner noticed he was struggling to canter on the right rein and gave me a call 📲

When assessing his dynamic flexion it became apparent he was struggling with his left fore, pivoting on it instead of stepping over with it. And... in walk and trot his right hind was hiking up during movement and the leg was shorter in protraction, the forward reach phase of the stride 🧐

Palpation highlighted bilateral tension in his ascending pectorals and further tension in the brachialis and triceps but these were just on the left.

But what does that actually mean? 🤔

The left shoulder had so little freedom that, rather than stepping through on his dynamic flexion assessment, poor Ben was just rotating around on that leg 🌀

The right hind that was hiking and not reaching forward was tight at the lumbar, specifically over the psoas, therefore could not generate the push needed to strike off into that right rein canter 💡 meaning poor Ben was just trotting faster and faster and getting more and more unbalanced 😕

It all connects! 🙌 🐎

Being able to join the dots between what you feel in the saddle or see on the lunge and what I find during assessment and treatment is just so cool! 🙌 👀

I absolutely LOVE it!! 😍

Just to clarify, Ben had all his tension released. He loved the work and was showing a huge improvement in his dynamic flexion and striding after the treatment 🥰

My boy enjoying a snooze on the gate after he demanded some reiki the other day 🥰

And yep, he demands it 😂 pointedly stands there, shoves his head in my hands then moves the sore area at me 🫶 amazing!

My Bobby is back into work, we’re taking it real slow, for both our sakes! I want to make sure he gets exactly the right support for his physical and mental health ♥️ (and I don’t want throwing in the floor!)

This is why we utilise short targeted bodywork sessions, reiki, a riding coach and have booked an osteopath. Don’t forget the farrier, saddle fitter, vet, bit and bridle… It takes a team to get this right! 🫶

Bringing an ex racer on is one of the most rewarding things I have done! I’m learning so much about their bodies, the after effects of racing and the little idiosyncrasies the ex racers all come with. I’m a little bit obsessed 😍

Wouldn’t swap my little Boblet for all the tea in China, and you all know how much I like tea!!

So, we had a whole new way of Flying Hooves during a treatment the other day!

Following a huge release in the lumbar area of his back muscle, the longissimus dorsi, V decided the only way to deal with the situation was to go and have a roll and wave his feet in the air 😂

My work never ceases to amaze me! Horses are truly incredible, and yes, extremely funny 😂

A huge big welcome to the Flying Hooves Family for sweet little Ambie 💖

She’s an absolute pleasure to work with and is a few treatments in so she is really starting to see the benefits.

Last week we got some incredibly deep releases into her hindquarters and lumbar, with lots of yawning and the most adorable little pandiculation stretches 🥰

After this she was marching round her field with right little a spring in her step, no toe dragging, no shortness in her striding, just one happy bouncy pony 😍

At 38”, she’s a client I can sit down on the job with 😂 well done little girl, long may your steps be springy! Can’t wait for the next visit 😍
