Had a family tonight unannounced, who have visited on numerous occasions with no appointment at every visit, unsure of breed they would like, when they think they may be ready? And what they can offer the puppy going forward.

When we asked for them to arrange an appointment with the young girl (14 ish) parent, I got a phone call complaining that we were unhelpful and her grandchildren didn’t get to see what puppies they wanted.

Our priorities are health test, vet checks x 2. Two vaccines, four weeks apart. A lifetime of support and ensuring our pups have the best start in life.

I hope you understand our strict policy as welfare is our main responsibility 🐶💕

Sorry we have been quiet but have been very busy behind the scenes welcoming new family members in to the world.

Some have been routine but one turned out to be a challenge, not every birth goes to plan. Thank to Dave at VHC.

In between our full time care of our and your pets/family members, we have been spending to much time catching up on maintenance and excessive paperwork 😞.

Personally we would like to be more involved in welfare and spend more of our valuable time spending one on one time with dogs that have excessive needs.

Jaspers story

Jasper had a Xray last week to see how his surgery had gone. Sadly he needs repeat surgery to replace a screw😌.

During his treatment between Kentdale referral hospital and oakhills vets, Jasper befriended a lovely vet who was following his progress.

Tonight Jasper has gone to his forever home, where kindness and experience in his treatment going forever for such a young puppy will never be compromised.

Very hard decision but the best decision for him long term.

We are going to be keeping in touch regularly regards his next surgery pictures to follow. 🐶❤️

Jasper was homed to a very loving and responsible owner. She visited twice and took him home.

Jasper had a freak accident and was taken immediately to the vet for treatment. X-rays were taken, two appointments missed a fractured elbow and growth plate! Can say who or where as a complaint has been logged.

Jasper came back to us as his breeder to help with ongoing stress from his mum.

As you can appreciate a four month old puppy who loves people did not cope with crate rest. He is very vocal all the time.

I took him to Oakhill vets who referred him to Kentdale referrals for a consultation and surgery.

Surgery has gone well. He has been back to Oakhills in Kirkham today for a check up. All looking well medication changed to keep him quieter😂😂.

X-ray in April under sedation to sign him of.

As a breeder when things don’t go to plan with new owners, as we are his breeders I feel it’s our responsibility to help with appointments and rehabilitation which has been very difficult and time consuming.

Hopefully he will make a full recovery. Sorry if we have been slow in responding to calls etc but Jasper has had to take precedence.

First trip to Oakhills thought his leg may have to be amputated. Now a plus it’s saved and going forward a normal life will be a positive for him 🐶❤️

Feeling confident he will be perfect going forward. Stand by your babies no matter what happens you planned there arrival, support there future 🐶❤️
