Welcome to our page for our kennels, cattery and doggy day care. We are a family run business committed to providing a top quality, professional service caring for your beloved pet. Our staff are qualified and experienced in animal care and pride themselves on offering the best care for your pet. g Kennels & Cattery is an established business (2004) and we have built the facility to offer the best for your pet. We want to take away the worry and stress of leaving your animals when you are away from home. Every animal in our care will be treated like our own. Our facility is a completely secure, enclosed unit in a peaceful, rural part of Blackpool on the border of Lytham St Annes. We are located less than 5 mins from J4 of the M55. There are 19 regular dog kennels, and 2 deluxe kennels each with their own sleeping area and run. We have a secure outdoor exercise area so your dog can exercise freely every day. There are 11 cat pens (and 1 isolation pen) each on split levels offering multiple sleeping options to suit your cat. Each pen has a scratching post facility and toys to entertain your cat. Every animal must be up to date with their vaccinations, and we strongly recommend Kennel cough vaccinations for your dogs. Balmoral advises up to date flea and worming routines and we can assist in administering these if needed. We can facilitate animals on medication and any special dietary needs. Balmoral has access to a 24 hour veterinary service, but we will happily use your own vet where possible at your request. Viewings welcomed. This made me chuckle 🤣
So true though!

Day 4 and I think I've already averaged 100 miles a day taxiing kids around, and my food bill has risen by 500%.

Please bear with me the next few weeks as I juggle work, the kids, my sanity 🥴

I will respond to messages, just might be later in the day when I've got kids to bed and I've collapsed on the sofa. At least I have kittens to cuddle every day 😍

👋 Did you know we take XL Bullies?? 👋

We are fully licensed and insured to board your XL's.
The pics below are some of our happy boys and girls 💙❤️

As per regulations your dog must be:
✅️ Registered and Exempt (with certificate)
✅️ Neutered (with vet certificate or history)
✅️ Fully vaccinated and up to date
✅️ Own insurance for veterinary cover (our insurance does not cover XLs for vet cover)
✅️ Come in with a properly fitted muzzle

3rd Party insurance is no longer a requirement from 1st July 2026.

Please message with any enquiry about boarding your XLs.
The cost to board (£30 per night) is slightly higher due to the additional insurance premiums I pay in order to be able to board.

🚨 New staff member required! 🚨

Due to an impending human baby arrival we have a maternity cover vacancy! 👶

The position will be 30-40 hours per week, with an average of 1 weekend shift in 3.

Shifts are between 7.30am-6pm, 7 days a week.
National Living wage, pension scheme and holiday pay.
You must be over 18 due to working time regulations and the shift patterns that we operate.
The kennels is not on a bus route, nor easily accessible by foot, so bear in mind how you would get to your shifts.

Duties involve cleaning, walking, feeding, administering medications, bathing dogs, handling all breeds of cats and dogs, and dealing with customers.

Interviews will be conducted in the next couple of weeks with a view to getting started and trained as soon as possible.

Electricity North West are cutting trees on Bambers Lane today, mainly on and around our property.

Please be careful coming down the lane and on to our drive.

Access should be maintained but if the road is blocked at any point you may need to walk down to us.

There is a public footpath from Ramp City/Coastriders so can access that way also.
