I had a day off for some lovely birthday celebrations yesterday (21 again 😂) so didn't get to any messages.

I'm also now juggling kids and school holidays for the next 6 weeks so yey for that!

We are looking for a new PART TIME team member for 20-25 hours per week (including weekends)

Minimum age 18 years due to working regulations and shift patterns.

Balmoral are looking for a hard working individual, a team player but with the ability to work on your own.
Must be confident around dogs and cats.
Job is physically demanding, requires working outdoors in all weathers, and obviously lots of picking up poo!!!
The job entails a lot of cleaning, walking and socialising dogs, and so must be capable of handling all sizes of dogs.

Work involves plenty of handling and playtime with the dogs and cats, along with the bathing dogs.

There are no public transport links, so you must be able to get to and from our location independently.

There is some scope to discuss less hours and fixed days (eg working Sundays only)

Regular overtime shifts for holiday and sickness cover.
Minimum wage, paid monthly, IMMEDIATE start.

Given the usual tail backs when these lights are on, it may be worth using the new M55 link Road over the moss where possible!

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 🚦

As part of the ongoing works to create a new road into the Enterprise Zone, four-way temporary traffic lights will be installed at the junction of Common Edge Road and School Road while utility works are carried out.

The temporary lights will be in place from Thursday 12 June until Friday 20 June, weather permitting.

The works are required as part of the new road being built between Common Edge Road and Amy Johnson Way which is due to open later this year, aiming to help reduce congestion and create jobs for local people.

Road users are advised to plan ahead when making travel arrangements in this area as delays are expected.

Bye Bye Miss Daisy 🌼

Daisy has been coming to the creche for many years and now it's time for her retirement 😭

She has always been such a good girl with the newbies and even helped one last time today with Miss Bailey who came for an assessment.

We will miss you but see you for boarding soon 😘

Miss Bailey was a good girl today but we will be doing slow introductions over the coming weeks as its all so new for her but I'm confident she will fully settle in 😍

We do have a couple of creche spaces available so please message for more info!

When arriving for day care (or boarding) please ensure your dogs are secured on leads and not allowed to run loose in the car park. It's the rules for everyone's safety!

☀️☀️ New boy Winston had a great first day today! ☀️☀️

Made new friends (both human and dog), enjoyed playing out, but particuarly enjoyed cooling off in the sprinkler 💦

We've had a few new faces this week and they've all had such fun.

We are very limited on spaces through til November so please don't delay in booking in 🙈
