For a good start in life 🐴 🌾

Right now we are in the middle of the breeding season and we can already enjoy the first newborn foals in the pasture. 😍🥰

But what is the correct feed for the pregnant or lactating mare and the newborn foal? 🧐

Pregnant or lactating mares have very high energy and protein needs, especially in the first lactation period, so feeding a breeding mare feed like our Ferto-LAC is extremely important.

Equigard is a grain-free, high-fibre muesli, specifically designed for balancing the energy intake of horses that require a particularly low starch and sugar diet. This includes horses susceptible to the Equine Metabolic Syndrome, laminitis, equine myopathies such as Tying-up, PSSM and rhabdomyolysis as well as the Cushing’s Syndrome and gastric ulcers.

Fab few days at Aintree High Profile 🔥

Rooni settled super well, he’s such a good egg about sleepovers 😍 Really well organised show. No rush to exit your stable, bedding already down, everyone very helpful. Super secure too.

Hot for the PSG Thurs - neck a little tight but everything correct and accurate just two tiny but expensive bobbles. Very pleased with 67.35% ✌🏻 5th in the gold and 6th overall out of 22 😇

More relaxed for the Inter 1 Thurs - felt AMAZING in the warm up but boiled over slightly in the ring; a catalogue of mistakes so I put my hand up 🫣 The good bits felt 🌟incredible🌟 and got really good marks, that’s where I need to him to be for me. Such is life and such is horses 🙏🏻

Friday I opted just for the Inter 1 - back to being a reliable boy behaved super duper, did a great test for 67.35% 🥰 A smidge tight in right piri and absolutely no immobility only piaffe shown prior to the rein back 🫣 But we WON the silver section and were 3rd overall out of about 19🥇 What a recovery 🥹
