Please welcome beautiful mummy Enola and her four babies- Sherlock, Watson, Agatha & Marple! 😻

This beautiful family arrived in our care just a few days ago after a member of the public contacted us asking for help.
Poor Enola has been living on the streets for the past few years, and this is believed to be her fourth litter. We simply had to help this girl.

It’s heartbreaking to think that Enola has clearly spent so much of her life pregnant and nursing kittens. She has been around the same local area for the past few years, yet it has taken until now for someone to step in and ask for help 😔

This is not okay. 💔 No cat should have to spend years struggling on the streets and having litter after litter.

Enola is understandably scared, worried and hormonal. She is nursing four babies while also trying to settle into a completely new and unfamiliar environment. For now, we are giving her plenty of space, patience and time to adjust. ❤️

Her four little detectives are a little spicy themselves! 🌶️ But we are gently handling them to make sure they receive the important socialisation they need while they are young 🧡
For now, this little family are safe, comfortable and cared for.
Welcome to the sanctuary, Enola, Sherlock, Watson, Agatha & Marple. Your next chapter starts here 🐾❤️

Keep an eye out for updates on this sweet family ☺️

(Please note that we are NOT taking any enquiries about rehoming Enola or her kittens, so please do not contact us to ask about adopting them)

🐈‍⬛ Felis and Nova are such curious cats and love watching what their carers are getting up to as long as it means the humans don't get too close 😂
They get very brave and cheeky when it comes to feeding time and will venture out their room to make sure their carers are preparing their feeds properly 🤭

🐰 Caramel and Fudge 🐇

Caramel and Fudge are still looking for their forever home together 🏡

They have had a lot of interest over the years, but sadly, the people who have shown interest have said that they cannot offer them the space they need, or they want rabbits that enjoy being handled. Most rabbits do not like being handled for too long, and this is especially the case for Caramel and Fudge.

They are very friendly, energetic rabbits. Their favourite activities are investigating objects to dig up and chew. Their chewing and digging instincts are very strong 💪

Caramel and Fudge need a home where they can live together. They can live with older children (12+ years).

Caramel has degenerative ligaments in her front paws. We can give you more information about this if you contact our sanctuary 🙂

🖤 The last two of our abandoned cats 🤍

Fairy (black) and Mermaid (black/white)

Little Fairy was the very first of the nine we managed to safely rescue. She was hiding behind an old sanctuary sign in our staff car park, just a few metres away from where the cats had been cruelly dumped and tipped out of their carriers 😥💔

She was understandably scared, but also seemed curious about what was going on. Thankfully, we were able to gently coax her out of hiding and into a carrier. We almost felt as though she knew we were there to help her 🥹

Mermaid was sitting on top of the fence in the car park, looking very worried. Thankfully, rather than running away, she stayed quite still as we carefully approached her. We assessed the situation and felt that we could safely contain her without needing to use a trap. We were able to gently pick her up and get her safely into a carrier.

Initially, we actually thought Mermaid was a boy because she smelt so strongly of entire male. We know that several of the nine cats were entire males, so it was clear she had been living alongside them. We could also see immediately that Mermaid was in poorer condition than some of the other cats 💔

Unfortunately, Mermaid wasn’t as healthy as the other cats so she has been receiving veterinary treatment. We now know that Mermaid will be with us for a while longer but not due to illness…

Little Fairy is a happy, healthy young girly and we think she is likely from the same litter as some of the other black babies 🖤 We also suspect that Mermaid could be their mom, but of course we will never know this for sure. Mermaid certainly acts like it with Fairy though, making sure she tells her off if Fairy is getting on her last nerve or in her bubble 😂🙈
We will share more about Mermaid’s story very soon but for now she is loved, safe, cared for and has everything she needs while she grows her last litter of babies in her tummy 😭 Yes, Mermaid is pregnant! (We will explain more about this soon but the vets have advised us that the safest way forward is to allow the pregnancy to continue due to health and medications meaning surgery wouldn’t be safe for her, and the fact that she is much further along than we thought possible as there were absolutely no signs at all of pregnancy until only a couple of weeks ago! Basically babies are due any day now!)

These two girls are in foster with their carer currently but settled in straight away. It is so apparent that they are very used to positive human interaction. They have clearly been loved. We can’t decide whether this makes the situation better or worse 😕
After being chucked out of carriers onto our land and disposed of like rubbish, these girls (much like the rest of the gang) only ask for one thing, and that is love ❤️ They are so affectionate, amazing with children and just so gentle. It is absolutely heartbreaking to think about what must have been going through their little minds when they were all dumped, but none of these babies will ever have to worry about being safe again. We will make sure of that! 💕

OLIVER IS READY FOR HIS FOREVER HOME! 😻🏡

Remember handsome boy Oliver, who came into our care last month after his owner claimed he was a stray?

This gorgeous boy truly deserves a home where he will be loved, adored and never abandoned again 🥺❤️

Oliver absolutely loves his humans! He is a very needy boy who adores laps, cuddles and being close to you. He will happily cling to you like a little monkey 🐒, and it has been such a delight getting to know this incredibly sweet boy.

We feel Oliver would be happiest as an only cat, so he can have all the attention to himself. He can be a little grumpy and jealous around the other cats he has met, so we think being the only feline in the home would suit him best for now 😺

If you have an Oliver shaped hole in your heart and feel you could provide this beautiful boy with the loving forever home he deserves, please complete an adoption form🏡🐾

You can read more about Oliver and find our adoption form on our website-https://www.wythallanimalsanctuary.org/cats/oliver

Oliver deserves to know what it feels like to be truly loved and wanted. Please share and help us find his new forever family!
