🐾 Wishlist Appeal🐾

We are running low on a few supplies for our rescue pups and some other bits we need at the Sanctuary for them! 🐕

Would any of our amazing supawtors be able to help? 🙏🏼🧡

We have put the bits we need on our wishlist if anyone would be kind enough to get some for us we would really appreciate it! 🐾

The main things we need right now are:
🧡 Kidney/Renal dry food for Cherry-pie and Timmy (we have plenty of wet but it can upset their sensitive tums if we give it on it's own)
🧡Pronefra kidney support supplement
🧡 Radio's - battery and plug in ones to help out dogs with thunder noise
🧡Yumove
🧡 Plaque off/ Dental powder
If anyone wanted to get other bits from our wishlist we would be very grateful but these are the bits we really need for our dogs as we are running out!

These beauties are booked in for neuter over the next few days and will then be looking for homes (in pairs). Keep an eye on our page if you are interested in adopting a pair of fun, cheeky and loving kittens 🧡♥️

🌸 AVAILABLE FOR REHOMING 😺

Daisie-May is now ready to find her forever home on this Tongue Out Tuesday... And how cute is her little blep?! 😋

Sweet girl Daisie-May arrived in our care earlier this year with her four, three week old kittens. She was a great mummy, but soon let us know she was ready to be free of them once they were old enough and we don't blame her!

Sadly, despite still being a young cat herself, Daisie-May had already been through two pregnancies before coming into our care, both of which could have been prevented 🧡

Since then, Daisie-May has been enjoying her own space and independence. Now spayed, she can finally leave motherhood behind and enjoy life as it should be. Being loved, spoiled, and cared for properly 🥰

Daisie-May is a very placid, relaxed girl, but equally enjoys a mad play too! 😅
She loves affection and attention, but also enjoys time to herself, making her the perfect balance of both 🫶🏻

☀️ Aren’t we all glad that it’s cooled down a bit now? Although, we’re not sure how we feel about all this rain instead. It was definitely needed, we just like to moan about the weather in England don’t we! 😂

We’re really hoping the rain stops for our open day this Saturday though!🤞

Our cats found lots of ways to try and keep cool during the heatwave- including laying on wet towels, shallow paddling pools, asking the humans to wipe them down with a damp cloth, food fresh from the fridge and frozen ice lollies!

Here are some pictures of our cats enjoying their frozen treats which they loved! 🌞🧡

✨️They are vibrant girls with a mischievous nature, and they are very active. They don't stay still for long, and they will explore every single inch of their home. Rabbit proofing is extremely important with all rabbits, but especially with Caramel and Fudge 😄

Please welcome Lilly-Lou 😻

This beautiful 6 year old girl recently came into our care after her owner sadly passed away 😥

After speaking with family members, we learned that Lilly has lived quite a sheltered and lonely life, receiving very little love and attention 💔

It's no surprise that Lilly is quite an anxious girl and was understandably very worried when she first arrived with us. She wasn't happy at all during her first few days in our care, but she slowly began to trust us. Especially after we won her over with Lick e Lix! 😋

Lilly has now been with us for almost two weeks and is a very different cat. She has settled much quicker than we expected and is showing us what a sweetheart she really is. She now enjoys lots of loves and attention 🥰

Thankfully, Lilly has already been spayed and vaccinated, so she will be having a check-up with our vets this week before starting her search for a suitable home 🏠

Lilly will be looking for a calm, loving indoor home where she can enjoy the love and attention she has always deserved 🧡

Stitch Update 😺

Brave boy Stitch has now almost completed six weeks of his FIP treatment and earlier this week he attended the vets for a check-up.
He had blood taken to assess a number of markers that help indicate how well he is responding to his FIP medication.

🧡 We are very happy to report that all of his results are within normal ranges and looking good, which shows that he is responding really well to treatment 👏🏻☺️

Overall, Stitch has been doing so well. He has gained weight, is eating well, toileting normally and enjoying plenty of playtime, and occasionally being the typical annoying brother to his sister Lilo 😂🤭

Considering just how poorly he was, it has been amazing to see him return to his normal self while on treatment 🥰
We are hopeful that he will continue progressing well throughout the remainder of his treatment and into his post-treatment observation period 🙏🏻
Cats with FIP can unfortunately relapse, particularly once treatment has ended, so remaining in a familiar, low-stress environment is incredibly important!

Lilo and Stitch already have a lovely home lined up for them once Stitch has successfully completed his six weeks of post-treatment monitoring. There are still a few more months to go, but we are so grateful that this sweet boy is still fighting on and proving that cats with FIP can beat this disease and go on to live happy, healthy lives 😺
