Tomorrow is the Midland Rat Club's 25th Birthday Show & Party in Normanton-on-Soar! 🎉

It can sometimes be hard to put a face to the name, so I've had this tote bag made for you to recognise me if we haven't met before and you fancy coming to say hi 🌸

If you missed it, I've also donated a little jewellery set for the tombola featuring a lapis lazuli charm bracelet, matching pendant and pin badge. I can't wait to see who wins it! 🧡💙

🌸 Look What I've Just Come Across 🌸

Those of you who've been supporting me for a while may remember my decoupage pieces. I eventually stepped away from them to focus on jewellery, but I've just come across these leftovers that I thought had sold long ago and would love to find them a new home🪻

🌈 Together Again 🌈

Sorry I haven’t managed to open the memorial jewellery collection as promised this week.

After years of always burying our boys, it’s become impractical for us. At the weekend we dropped off 10 of our boys at the crematorium, and we’ve just brought them home. 🪻

It’s hit me a bit harder than I expected. Given the nature of the memorial pieces, it’s all felt a bit close to home and I think I need a little time to process things properly.

It’s also the Midland Rat Club’s 25th birthday show on Saturday, which we’re really excited to attend, as well as a home vet visit for health checks on Friday, so it’s all been pretty full on. 🎉

I’ll definitely be opening the memorial collection at the start of next week , I’m really excited to bring it to you properly.

🖤🌈 Memorial Jewellery Reveal 🌈🖤

Some of you may have caught a sneak peek of these in my stories previously…

The final pieces in the collection are these locket-style pendants. They’ll be available in two designs, a moon phase and a sun design 🌚🌞

They will come in four finishes, silver, gold, black and rainbow metal.They can also be customised with charms around or on the piece to make it personal to you 🌈

They’re designed to hold anything that feels meaningful to you, from fur and whisker clippings, dried flowers, charms, dried food, or any small items that remind you of your fur baby 💙

I’ll be making a post at the start of next week with the full collection and customisation options, as well as information about how these pieces can be pre-ordered 🌟

Not every memorial piece has to be worn...

For today’s reveal, I wanted to pick something for those of you who like the idea of keepsake jewellery but don’t necessarily want to wear it ✨

These locket-style keyrings are designed to hold anything that feels meaningful to you.

From fur or whisker clippings, dried flowers, charms, their food mix, or any small items that remind you of them 💙

I chose the rainbow metal finish to represent the Rainbow Bridge 🌈

🖤🌈 Memorial Jewellery Reveal 🌈🖤

What a difficult week it’s been with the heatwave pushing temperatures over 30° here in Birmingham and across other parts of the country ☀️

With the temperatures easing though, my head feels a little clearer and I’m excited to reveal some more pieces ✨

I’ll be finishing the reveals over the weekend with the hope of opening up pre-orders at the start of next week 💜

I’ve chosen today’s pieces specifically for those wanting a wearable urn design to keep a tiny piece of their baby or babies close always 🌈

The first urn design will be available in two sizes and in several stone colour options.
While I personally feel the rat charm suits these best, they can also be left plain or customised with other charms 💎

The second design features a rainbow sphere that can hold ashes or other tiny keepsakes.

These will be available in either a simpler single charm design, or a multi-charm dreamcatcher-inspired piece 🌙💫

💙🧡 Midland Rat Club 25th Birthday Show 🧡💙

Having been a member of the Midland Rat Club for 15 years, I can’t believe it’s their 25th anniversary this June. 🐭🎉

The show will be held on the 6th of June at Normanton on Soar Village Hall. Anyone planning on going?

They’re having a tombola and, of course, I wanted to put together an MRC colour inspired jewellery set that will be up for grabs in the tombola. 💙🧡
