Gina is a qualified equine physiotherapist with a wealth of experience working with top-level dressage horses. Her deep understanding of equine movement and performance makes her an invaluable addition to our practice.

The pre-purchase exam (PPE or vetting) is a thorough clinical examination of the horse on behalf of the prospective buyer to assess veterinary factors which may affect the horse’s suitability for its intended purpose.

At EVP we follow the standardised 5-stage procedure following outlines from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and BEVA. The vetting provides an assessment of the horse at the time of the examination to help the potential purchaser make an informed decision on the purchase. It is not a guarantee of the horse’s suitability for its intended purpose nor a safeguard against future ailments or injuries.

We are an independent equine practice based in West Sussex looking for a new member to join our growing team. The role will initially be on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent. You will be working alongside our international lead vet at client calls as well as assisting the clinic team.
