Hi everyone 😊

I hope you’re all having a wonderful week, and enjoying the summer months!

I just wanted to come on here and apologise for the lack of uploads lately.

I like to, on average, upload at least a few times a week with some cute before and after dog pictures 🐶 but lately I’ve found myself in a bit of a slump mentally, feeling very down on myself, and life in general to be honest. My confidence kind of plummeted and part of me has really been questioning if dog grooming is for me.

When I’m feeling a bit rubbish, I tend to go into a bit of a survival mode, focusing on getting through each groom and each work day. As a result I haven’t really been taking any pictures or uploading any grooms.

In true stubborn Conor fashion though, I am plodding on and trying to push my worries and insecurities aside. Some days are harder than others but I’m determined to keep improving and not let my confidence sink anymore.

Going forward I’m going to try and be a bit more active on here 🩵 and force myself to celebrate the dogs I groom, as well as the grooms themselves.

Thankyou all for being so kind & supportive. It really does mean more than you know. 🙏

Teddy came in for his first full groom with me today 😃

Teddy is a beautiful Lhasa Apso who is moving to Biggleswade with his mum in the coming weeks 🙂 and she was eager to find a new groomer for him.
Here is hoping I passed the test! 😋

Teddy was an absolute star from start to finish, such a pleasure to groom! I left some length on the coat at his mums request, and gave him a nice little tidy up! 💛 I hope he feels a lot more comfortable in this heat.

A huge thankyou to his owner Jane for bringing him to me today 🙏 it was lovely meeting you!

I look forward to seeing you all again when Teddy next needs a haircut! 🐶

Norman came in for a full groom today 😃🧡

I’ve had the pleasure of grooming Norman for a few years now, and he’s such a pleasure to have in the parlour 🥲 he used to get quite nervous when it came to his haircuts, but now he sees it as part of his routine and goes with the flow!

After a good wash and a trim, he looked so smart and handsome 😃 I hope he’s a lot more comfortable in this heat! ☀️

Bertie the wire-haired dachshund had his regular full groom with me today 🙂 this consisted of a wash in the bath, a good old fashioned brush dry, and a haircut.

This beautiful boy is always so well behaved for his grooms, and it’s such a pleasure to have him in the parlour 🙂 he’s my little buddy.

Today my little big friend Duke came in for a bath, dry & de-shed treatment 🙂

This gorgeous boy is Duke, and he’s one of the loveliest Labradors I have the pleasure of grooming 💙 he’s always so well behaved, and makes sure to give me big smiles!

As Duke’s back legs are getting a little weaker with age, he sat down for a lot of his groom today 🙂 as with every dog I groom, comfort and wellbeing will always come before grooming standards.

Duke left the parlour after his groom today looking and smelling beautiful 😃 as well as being a few stone lighter after all that de-shedding! 😂

Shadow the Rough Collie came in for a bath, blast and paw trim today! 🙂

This gorgeous boy is the brother of Brodie the Sheltie 🙂 and he too is such a lovely dog. He is a little anxious at times, especially with loud noises, so he often needs a little more fuss and attention during his grooms, (which is absolutely fine with me!) 🙂

When his groom was all finished, Shadow looked, felt and smelled absolutely beautiful! 🥲 I was very proud of him today, he did so well!

Always a delight to groom Shadow! 💜
