We had the pleasure of meeting 9 little bundles of Dalmatians today 🥰 They were so well behaved for their first puppy check and vaccines!
They never stopped moving for the photos but we managed to get a couple of good ones before they had a doze in reception! Little cuties 🐾😍

We are very sad to let you know that after 21 years with Blue House (and a total of 27 years working as vet), Neil will be hanging up his stethoscope for the final time on 17th September. He has treated thousands of pets during that time, and so many of our patients will have benefitted from his knowledge and skills at some point over the years. He will certainly be missed by all of us.

Here are a few words from him:

"As the time approaches for me to leave Blue House I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for entrusting me with the care of the "additional members" of your family.
I look back with fond memories of my time at Blue House Vets - it has been a pleasure and a privilege to meet and treat so many of your "best friends". The chance to interact with so many interesting and special characters has always been the best part of my job.
I depart knowing that I was lucky enough to help and treat your pets as if they were my own.
I thank you once again and wish you and your animal friends a healthy and happy future.

Petplan Veterinary Practice of the Year 2019!

We offer friendly and personal pet care, along with modern, well equipped quality facilities. The Blue House team spoil our pets as you spoil your own, and see you as part of our practice, rather than as just another pet owner. Personal relationships and case continuity are important, and we will endeavour to ensure that you see the same vet at every consultation wherever possible. A different face every time you visit us is not how we like to work. We like to involve you in your pet's care, with full explanations of your pet's treatment plan. We believe that you should understand why we do what we do! Consultations are by appointment, ensuring that you get a full and proper explanation every time you visit us. Double-length appointments are allocated for all new clients and puppies/ kittens, allowing us get to know you (and your pet) properly. We handle our patients with care and compassion, and aim to never upset your pet. If your special pal enjoys coming to see us, the whole experience becomes more rewarding for you, for us, and for your animals. We like your dog to pull you into the surgery (though second thoughts once they enter the consulting room are not unheard of!) If your pet is particularly frightened of anything associated with a visit to the vets, please let us know in advance, so that we can address the issue. We welcome new clients, as well as familiar faces. If you are unsure whether or not you would like to come to us, feel free to call and have a chat. We would be delighted to show you around our facilities and explain how we work.
