It’s been a difficult week after my 2 boys passed over rainbow bridge 🌈
This is what happened 5 years ago when naughty Eddie pickles got hold of my husband’s birthday cake 😆I miss his cheeky personality so much! 💔

Not many of you will know but I rescued Eddie after he was brought into the vets i was working at. He was in a bad way & after having surgery we weren’t sure whether he would even make it and have a fulfilling life. But after around 8 months of stress & a lifetime of worry, he started doing amazingly. He’s my proudest achievement to date 🩵

Thank you for understanding me having cancel walks last week but I will be back to work properly tomorrow & sharing work photos/ videos of the week 🐾

‼️ALL WALKS CANCELLED TOMORROW‼️
Please can my regulars check their messages (hopefully I haven’t forgotten anyone)

I thought coming to work would help keep my mind busy. However, I really struggled today, I think I just need a day to myself to grieve properly. I’m really sorry this is short notice.
I will return to work as normal on Wednesday.

Hi all ❤️ I just want to let you all know I will not be replying to any calls/ messages this weekend at all! My dogs Jack & Eddie aren’t very well so I’ll be spending special time with them 🐾

All walks cancelled today due to high temperatures again. Please take care, especially with those brachycephalic breeds!
As a vet nurse, I have witnessed heat stroke in dogs on way too many occasions & it’s extremely upsetting to see an animal in so much distress. Take care & enjoy the sun safely ☀️

No dog ever died from missing one walk🚨

If the pavement is too hot for your hand for five seconds, it's definitely too hot for paws. During the heatwave, stick to walks at dusk and dawn to avoid burnt paw pads and heatstroke, and if in doubt, don't go out.

Please share this vital reminder to help protect four (and three!)-legged friends in hot weather.
